Jack Crivalle was born and raised on the Southwest Side of the City of Chicago. He was educated in the Catholic School System going to Catholic school for both Grammar School and High School. Moreover, Jack Crivalle was an average student that made up for many of his shortfalls through athletics, playing football, and running track throughout both Junior High School and High School. After High School, Jack Crivalle jumped into the job market eager to finally make some money and find progress. He worked a series of labor and construction jobs while pursuing his studies at night and on the weekends. Jack Crivalle decided to work and going to college part time. First by studying at various junior colleges and then transferring to Chicago State University where he then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and marketing. He then joined his father, Salvatore Crivalle, in the newspaper business, working countless hours and following his father’s tutelage and helping the publication grow to extraordinary success. Subsequently, Jack Crivalle is still very active in the Southwest Chicagoland Community as an officer and on boards of directors of many non-for-profit charities that deal in helping children, veterans and the disabled.
