Shihan Drucker has been studying Martial Arts since 1964. His Judo Black belt was received in 1970 by his instructor and Legendary Judo Master Professor Takahiko Ishikawa. His close to 60 years of experience includes training in Judo, Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, and Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, as well as Myofu-An Bujutsu. He is a third generation Licensed Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practiciner. He is a student of Anma Master Shogu Mochizuchi, continually refining his skill in the Traditional Art of Japanese Massage. Mr. Drucker has studied Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan since 1975 and is considered a Master Teacher of Tai Chi Chuan. Professor Drucker has been licensed to teach Myofu-An Bujutsu. Master Drucker is one of only a handful of Martial Artists that are considered Deshi or personal students of Grand Master Koryu Muramatsu and member in good standing of The Kobujutsu Kenkyu Kai of Myofu An Society Japan. As one of the first licensed Martial Arts professionals in Mixed Martial arts, he has trained, coached and officiated many events in Combat Sports with several of his students competing in both the UFC and Bellator cages. Dr. Drucker has been in the field of holistic medicine for over 25 years, holding degrees in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Nutrition. A true pioneer when he founded “Getting In Touch” one of the first companies of its kind bringing alternative health to business's and educating insurance companies to the benefits of Complementary / Alternative Medicine. His vast studies including basic American nutrition, biochemistry, as well as a variety of culturally influenced nutrition programs, diets, and medicine, including herbal therapy, homeopathy, Aryuvedic medicine, Mediterranean, and other Eastern philosophies and influences. Studies of Mind/Body medicine, as well as many areas of political / medical debate. His PhD Dissertation was on the differences between synthetic vitamins and whole food supplements. Dr. Drucker has helped educate hundreds of health care professionals, including Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Nurse Practitioners, Naturopathic Doctors, Nutritionists, and other healthcare providers in his career consulting in Functional medicine. This broad background in a variety of Martial Arts combined with a critical eye toward the practical applications of Martial Arts techniques in real world situations ensure the readers and students a rare view from the perspective of one of the most senior instructors in the World.
