Margaret McElroy was born in Nottingham, England in 1946, and migrated to Australia in 1974. The mother of three and grandmother of six opened the door to her spiritual path in 1985. Margaret is a citizen of England, Australia, New Zealand and the United States, and now makes her home in Gurgaon, India, where she lives with her husband Alan. Through her experiences of life and interactions with a wide variety of cultures, locations and people, she has become a woman of the world, gaining valuable insights all along the way. In 1992, after channeling an energy known as Argos for 5 years, Margaret began channeling Maitreya. Upon Maitreya’s instructions, Margaret developed a website to allow him to share his teachings with the world. Maitreya has guided Margaret through her life lessons, as she had to overcome many fears on her journey. By facing these fears, it has enabled Margaret to inhabit at state of vibration where she and Maitreya are now one. It is this connection that makes it possible for Maitreya to be with Margaret at all times. Margaret has been featured in over 500 media publications, been a radio show host and done numerous radio and TV segments. She has also authored six books. Her travels with Maitreya have taken her around the world, from a channeled talk at the United Nations, to Australia, Europe, North America, Asia and now India. Margaret and Maitreya continue to bring Maitreya’s “Wisdom for Today and Answers for Tomorrow,” to people all around the world through the videos, classes, and writings on Maitreya.co.
