I am a senior partner at McKinsey & Company based in Madrid. I have more than 25 years of experience serving organizations on transformation, risk and resilience, and growth. I counsel top executives and partner with their teams with the aim to drive distinctive, substantial and lasting performance improvements and build new capabilities. I served financial institutions in more than 15 countries spanning Europe, South America, the US, Africa and Asia. My work includes corporate strategy and capital allocation, growth and digital transformation, operational efficiency programs, and risk, regulation and finance improvements. I lead transformation programs with their implications in talent and organizational change. In addition to serving my clients, I held a variety of key global roles at McKinsey, such as serving on the global executive team, as core leader in McKinsey’s Global Banking practice, leading the Global Risk and Resilience Practice in 2020-2024, and since 2024 co-chairing the global Senior Partner Election Committee. I was the first woman elected partner in my office. I am committed to making a difference for women by leading diversity research globally, including collaborations with the World Economic Forum. I co-authored “The Broken Rung” book, published by Harvard Review Press in March 2025. I also served as McKinsey’s global chief diversity and inclusion officer. In addition to my work at McKinsey, I serve on the board of trustees at Esade Business School in Barcelona and I am a member of the board of Plan International Spain, an NGO that defends children’s rights and girls’ equality. I earned my bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from Esade in Barcelona, a master’s in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University, and a master’s in international management from HEC Paris Business School.
