Marjory McGinn is a Scottish-born author and journalist, partly brought up in Australia and now based in Cornwall, England. Her journalism has appeared in leading newspapers and magazines in the UK and Australia. As a feature writer she interviewed many prominent people in the arts, politics and sport, including: Donald Sutherland, Olivia Newton-John, Clive James, and cricketing legend, the late Shane Warne, who famously demonstrated his spin bowling techniques for her in a crowded Sydney restaurant using bread rolls! In 2010, she moved to Greece with her husband Jim and their terrier Wallace. The trip lasted four years and became the basis for her four travel memoirs, starting with the popular Things Can Only Get Feta, and two Greek novels A Saint For The Summer and How Greek Is Your Love? which are regularly in Amazon bestseller charts. Her recent book Wake Me Up For The Elephants is an entertaining travel memoir with stories from different international locations.
