Originally a Yorkshireman, who now is most definitely an Essex-boy in his late 50's. I am now retired from teaching, due to a recurring back injury, and PTSD. I am so proud of the kids I had the privilege of teaching. Learning to enjoy everyday, trying to look for the positives in life, and people. It's best summed up in a song called: "Time stand still," there's a great cover version done by the US Army band, to note the passing of Neil peart. I thank God everyday, that I am blessed with a great family, and friends, who without who's support I would not be here. I must admit, I'm failing miserably at adapting to this crazy new digital world, I feel like a bit of a dinosaur, with a 3G phone, paying cash as much as I can. I still love music from the 60's, 70's,80's and 90's, and do play the bass guitar, as much as I can. It was love at first play. The first time I found I could make the beautiful tone of the bass, I was hooked. The mixture of rhythm and melody, the fact that I could get people up and dancing when I played as part of a band, was one the coolest things I have ever experienced.
