Dr. Ross G. White is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at Queen's University Belfast and a Director at the Strive2Thrive psychological consultancy organisation. Ross specialises in an approach for enhancing mental health and wellbeing called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He is an expert in Global Mental Health which seeks to address inequities in the availability of mental health services across the globe. In addition to publishing numerous scientific articles, Ross has authored several books including: 'The Tree That Bends: How a Flexible Mind can help you thrive', 'Acceptance and Commitment Approaches to Athletes' Wellbeing and Performance: The Flexible Mind', and 'The Palgrave Handbook of Sociocultural Perspectives on Global Mental Health'.
