Dr. Suzan Brinker is a higher education strategist, marketer, podcast host, and thought leader. She is a cofounder and the CEO of Viv Education, a Boston-based, women-owned marketing agency for colleges and universities. She and her team have worked with numerous small liberal arts institutions, large research universities, and business schools on initiatives spanning research, brand, program strategy, enrollment, and change management. Before founding Viv, she was the director of marketing at Penn State World Campus and then Northeastern University. She also served as fractional chief marketing officer at Assumption University for one academic year. She grew up in Germany with a German mother and a Turkish father. She came to the US to study at St. Norbert College and then earned her MA in communication from Marquette University and her PhD in higher education from Penn State. Suzan lives in Concord, Massachusetts, with her husband and their three children.
