About this listen

The 15th novel in the No. 1 Sunday Times bestselling series

Four bodies are found in a luxury hotel

The first is a man who checked in under a false name. Two are in a room next door, full of surveillance equipment. And the fourth is the house maid, who saw too much.

Detective Lindsay Boxer is sent in to investigate and hunt down an elusive and dangerous suspect. But when her husband Joe goes missing, she begins to fear that the suspect she is searching for could be him.

As the case gets ever more complicated and personal, San Francisco is suddenly faced with an atrocity no one will ever forget.

Sometimes secrets can be deadly . . .

'Smart characters, shocking twists' Lisa Gardner
'I couldn't turn the pages quick enough' Heidi Perks

Standard James Patterson fare. No surprises here. Easy reading that doesn't require much effort or input from the reader/listener.

Good, easy read

Another great and typical Women's Murder book. Just didn't get why the narrators male voice range doesn't go beyond what sounds like a teenage surfer boy.

Why do all the male voices sound like stoned surfers!?

Thee storyline was entertaining but the music and sound effects were off putting and not necessary at all

Loved this book. The first woman's murder club book I have listened too and really enjoyed it. Sound effects of gunfire and music were a surprise., but added to the suspense of the story.

Great from start to finish

I enjoyed this on the whole but I found the main character tedious at times. There’s a lot of focus on her inner emotional turmoil and this is returned to again and again. My eye muscles got strained from all the eye rolling... maybe it’s a man thing?

Good on the whole
