I enjoyed the previous Time Police titles but this one just seemed a bit contrived, and I began to think that maybe I should be a Young Adult, which I'm definitely not. I love Zara Ramm's performance, she is fantastic.

I enjoyed the book, but for me there was not enough Team Weird interaction in it. It's too much focussed on other characters. A bit of cross-over with St Marys is nice, but I think Max should not take over the Time Police books. Definitely not as good and funny as the first three.

Jodi Taylor, is a wonderful creative writer who crafts the most original stories set in real historical events. I think during the previous Time Police books, we came to care for all the main characters but the special personalities of Luke and Jane; shone. Showing some hope for their own individual happiness at the end of this story was then appreciated. I did not like the more liberal use of swearing (Fie Trucking is brilliant, so why need more?) or the very descriptive toilet humour at the end. (Pointless and not funny). However. as usual Jodie Taylor's action, dialogue, personalities and settings are like her imagination, second to none.

I am so very glad to have stumbled upon Jodi Taylor (not literally) years ago with The Chronicles of St Mary’s what a find and this book is wonderful. Jodi is a very devious woman with a delicious sense of humour.

It’s a great book loved every minute of the rollercoaster ride. Another superb book to add to the collection. Well Done 👏🏻
