Summary
As a child, Chris Hooper dreamed of monsters. But in deep space, he found only darkness and isolation. Then, on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man.
When a shuttle crashes into the mining ship Marion, the miners learn that there was more than trimonite deep in the caverns. There was evil, hibernating and waiting for suitable prey. Hoop and his associates uncover a nest of Xenomorphs, and hell takes on a new meaning. Quickly they discover that their only hope lies with the unlikeliest of saviors... .
... .Ellen Ripley, the last human survivor of the salvage ship Nostromo.

Great audible drama to Alien series
Very good drama. This would be a prequel to Aliens but sequel to Alien. It is a great storyline. Voice acting was great especially the person who played Ripley!! She managed to portray Ripley and what she been through. The only issue I found was that it was short story!!

Not good
Simple, unbelievable story/scenario. Terrible dialogue. Sad the Alien franchise has come to this. At least it was free.

Great story ruined by bad sound quality on music.
Backing track (music & sound effects) were bad & could've been recorded under water. Potentially 5 stars.
I enjoyed listening to the story but...as I've already said, my enjoyment was ruined by the music /backing track that sounded as if it had been recorded on magnetic tape that had worn thin (those over a certain age will know exactly what it sounds like. If you don't then ask your elders). Audible, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sort out the sound quality... We don't live in an age of audio cassettes anymore. If it were still the 1980's I'd expect it of a secondhand home recording.

Excellent
Suspenseful and reminded me of the original film (I didn’r watch any of the sequels), but not in an overbearing way. The script seemed artificial in cery few places and the performances were top notch. I very much enjoyed it. I wish there was another one if these to download!

Downloaded in error......best download mistake ever!
I’ve been a fan of the Alien genre since I was a kid watching the original movie in the theatre and have enjoyed revisiting the series through the audio books.
This is a great adaptation and worthy a download.
