About this listen

I've always had a weak spot for strange ladies. One very beautiful girl had even warned me that she was, get this, a vampire. But did I listen? No.

Before you know it, I'm being chased by an ugly thug with a gun, and a bullet blasts its way through my back, and, believe it or not, nothing happened. I survived! How? You guessed it. I, Jack Fleming, ace reporter, have been transformed into a vampire, which has its advantages. You never die, you never grow old, you sleep all day, and, best of all, you can hunt down your own murderer.

Bloodlist is the first novel in an exciting vampire adventure series.

Moved along nicely, interesting idea it has the potential to develop given the characters involved.

Nice idea.

If you could sum up Bloodlist in three words, what would they be?

Well written and great people who thankfully are not some silly high school kids.

What did you like best about this story?

Very Good

Grate down to earth vampire books full of action and gunsters would recommend for People into P I, gunsters or vampires but having all 3 is a grate mix

Great read

I found and read the series back in 1990, loved it then, love it now.
Had a little trouble getting used to the narrator, but he did a good job.

As good as I remembered

What a delight. A Witty, smart crossover of detective and vampire genres with a lighthearted twist on an old Chicago mobster style storyline. I laughed out loud at the antics and loved the characters.

Fabulous Fun

it's not Chinatown it's not Interview with the Vampire but it's still a interesting blend, lots of old school nods to radio hero's of the time, nice comic book reference and a hint of Sherlock Holmes, if all this sound good to you check it out

good time filler
