Well written, performed and produced. I'm not much of a fan of the Disney Star Wars Canon but this was an excellent story, better in fact than the novelisation of the film it is setting up.

I'm a big Star Wars fan and this sounded like a really good idea, a book that sets the scene leading up to the latest film. It didn't disappoint, the story was great, it really worked well as a plot, leading directly into where Rogue One starts. The narrator was also great, using a variety of different tones, without using different accents, which os unusual I'm the books I tend to listen to. Overall a really great read 😁

If you could sum up Catalyst (Star Wars) in three words, what would they be?

I almost wish this had been a film, It really adds a lot to the Rogue One story. It made me like the film more retrospectively.

Any additional comments?

If only licensing deals for the UK didn't prevent me from reading the rest of the new Star Wars books, I really liked this one.

Amazing Prequel novel

Long on political intrigue and manoeuvring, short on action. The story introduces a number of key characters and explores the actions and circumstances that brought them to where we find them in Rogue One.
The audio production is excellent with familiar Star Wars music and sound effects. The narration is also excellent.
Unfortunately the story just failed to captivate or excite.

Plenty of background information on key characters from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and a certain super weapon that will enhance your viewing pleasure come December 16th and also that of past films and I'm sure future ones too.

Worth reading, but could have been better. The abrupt ending lets it down.

I'm assuming it would have tred on the toes of Rogue One if it had progressed more, however I believe it could still have been handled better.
