Critic reviews

"Clare continues her talent for mixing hip, modern humor with traditional fantasy, and fans eagerly awaiting the series conclusion should come away more than satisfied." ( School Library Journal)

This is the third book in the series and concludes the events set in motion by the two previous books. Jace and Clary must come to terms with their past in order to win in the present. This is a tale of love and sacrifice stunningly told by the Author. Every sentence is lovingly crafted. For anyone who has taken these amazing characters to their hearts, this book is a sheer delight, and the excellent narration is just the icing on the cake.

Good but pridiclable

Full of wonder and magic, the first 3books just kept getting better and better as we got to know and invest in each of the characters with every chapter... highs and lows throughout that ended with an hour long epilogue answering so many questions that other books would ordinarily have left for sequels.

such a great series to escape into
