The characters with their individual personalities and voices are so well done.
I'm enjoying Lindsey's writing - these characters are so much fun to know. Elisa's inappropriate humour and "mouthiness" kills me every time. Love it!

If you have listened to the previous books, you don’t need me to tell you how good they are. If you haven’t, I suggest you start with the Fallen Empire books 1-3 collection and subsequent audiobooks so that you get the full benefits of the characters and story development.

I started with the free omnibus and now I’m hooked.
Already purchased the next book as I enjoyed this so much.
Well written and the narration just keeps on getting better.
Highly recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of escapism.

I really enjoy the characters interactions the conventions out loud and in their heads! Kate Reading is wonderful as a narrator definitely looking for more of her work. On to the next!

I always find Lindsay Buroker stories to be not to complex but with more than enough action, romance and fun characters whether it is a sy-fi or fantasy series. I enjoy listening to her books.

I have come to love this series but I dread the end. You can't help but like all the characters and the interaction between them. I like the slow romance between Alisa and Leo. I like the banter between them all. I do feel the books end too quickly but I guess that's a sign the book is good.
