Three books in one, all I can say is I want to know what happens next each time, and have now added the rest of the books to my wishlist.

Given this is included in Audible Plus definitely recommend it for Fantasy readers, I'll definitely be getting the rest over time!

The story is simple and predictable, seasoned with romances everywhere. Narration sometimes seems like it was computer generated, and other times is quite good.

This is the first series by Lindsay Buroker that I have tried. I enjoyed the storyline and and development of the characters. It is a very enjoyable listen with great plot twists and storyline. The narrator has a great voice and portrays the characters well but has a very grating idiosyncracy of not pronouncing 'T"s on the end of words. I find myself constantly waiting for her to drop the next T. It detracts from my enjoyment of listening. That said I listened to the omnibus series and the follow ons but would not start another series of books with this narrator.

So I wasnt sure what to start listening to after finishing the last book series I listened to. I drive long distance for a living and wanted books that had a great story line to keep me entertained on my travels and boy did I get that with the entire series of Dragon Blood so far. I only have 4 books left but I'm so sucked in by the story I find myself in another world with it (I have an over excited imagination lol) I was recommended the first 3 books as its a collection so was an good choice a longer listen. After listening to the Potter books it was natural this type of story would appeal to me. It did take me a short while to get to use to the narrator as I'd only listened to British narrators before this series and how it was performed and the way the language was used did take some adapting. The characters are well written and likeable, makes you want to cheer them on when they are getting into a problem. I definitely look forward to listening to more from the writer once I've finished the series as I absolutely love her writing so far.
