What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This is supposed to be a book about the art of communication. Mr Rohn simply rants in abstract terms. He should have:1. Structured the material better
2. Given clear examples with "how to" instructions.
Has Communication and the Art of Persuasion put you off other books in this genre?
Yes, a bit. Fortunately I first listened to "how to win friends and influence people", so I know there are good books out there.Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Jim Rohn?
No one, he is an excellent narrator, with passion, and varied energy and pace. It's simply low grade content that no one could have saved. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Confusion at first, then contempt, then disappointment.Any additional comments?
Just saying "do this", "don't do that" and using generic examples is a rant, not an education.Utter gibberish
