My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!

Sage and Renzo!
Shae has always known that she has been loved within her mafia family but earning their respect and showing she was capable was more of a challenge. She has found her place within the business however when she is abducted with a member of a rival family, and they find themselves stranded it will force her to reevaluate the future she really wants.
After the death of his father Renzo became the head of his mafia family. He is intrigued by how fierce and feisty she is which only makes him want her more. When they are stranded together with their regular lives standing between them the feelings between them are undeniable but when they are rescued choices must be made.
Shae is Renzo’s equal in every way and they are each other’s perfect partner in both life and love. The narrators were the perfect choice for the characters as you could feel the protective and possessive side of Renzo as well as the sassy and spirited person that Shae was.

Great narration
I’ve loved the character of Shae Byrne since she was first introduced in the Byrne Brothers series, but considering the earlier books had hinted towards a mysterious Irishman called Devlin so you can imagine my surprise when she attracted the attention of an Italian mafia boss like Renzo Donati.
With two such strong and dominant, alpha characters I knew there were going to be fireworks between Shae and Renzo but we’re talking a full-on pyrotechnic display, so heavy and intense the tension and chemistry between them especially once they were out of their comfort zone of New York and stranded in a cabin in the wilds of Canada and with only one bed. Their banter was deliciously wicked as the sparred and flirted with each other. Shae has always been such a larger than life character earning her position in the ‘family business’ by proving she was just as capable as any of her brothers or male cousins so it was good to see a vulnerable side to her while Renzo was more of a mystery, but he fell hard and fast for Shae and ready to do whatever he to, to have a future with her. If Craving Chaos is any indication, the Moretti Malice series is off to a flying start.
Kelsey Navarro Foster was a new to me narrator, and if I’m being honest, it did take a couple of chapters before I warmed to her as Shae but that’s only because she didn’t sound how I imagined one of my favourite characters would sound but she soon won me over with her portrayal. She also had the ability to seamlessly switch between voicing the male/female parts. Aiden Snow is always a favourite and was perfectly cast as brooding mob boss Renzo. Their performances as they went from mutual antagonism to falling for each other were first class and made this audiobook a fun listen for my commute to the office.

Craving More of this Series~Amazing Story & Listen
Jill Ramsower never ceases to amaze me with her creative mind and ability to write original stories with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. “Craving Chaos” is the first book in her new “Moretti Malice” and what an amazing start it is. This book features Shae Byrne from the “Byrne Brothers” series, the sister who is just as fierce or maybe even fiercer than her brothers, and Renzo Donati, the new boss of the Giordano Mafia family. After an operation and trade deal goes wrong, the two find themselves in deep trouble, caught in a life or death situation, and they escape one only to crash land into another. Forced into survivor mode, they need to work together with hopes they will live to see the next day. It was great to watch these two work together and get to know each other, and then watch Renzo fall for her, with Shae being a stronghold, knowing it would never work in real life, their families are rivals and she loves her job with her family while he runs an empire whose interests do not always coincide with her family’s. Holy moly, there is never a dull moment in this book, with non-stop drama, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Besides the survival and close-proximity storylines, there is the mystery who set them up and the twist of who it was, which both look into. As always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Jill Ramsower, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride.
🎧📚🎧 Kelsey Navarro Foster and Aiden Snow were fantastic, and did an amazing job portraying the characters and were believable in every role, showcasing the two lead’s personality and demeanor perfectly. Kelsey Navarro Foster’s Shae was fierce and Aiden Snow nailed it as the alpha boss. Both were just as fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two made a great team, their voices complemented each other and their performance elevated this already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Hot and full of chaos
This was such an incredible adventure. I love the absolute chaos and survival that Ren & Shae had to endure. The forced proximity weaved such an intense bond and incredible chemistry. This slow burn was absolutely worth the wait. The chaos and betrayal, the secrets and alliances was consuming.
The narration was absolute perfection, Aiden Snow and Kelsey Navarro-Foster did an absolutely phenomenal job bringing this story to life.

It was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it a lot. There is never a dull moment, always something new happening.
Great mafia romance with amazing audiobook narrators.

🎧🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧🎧
If you're already a fan of this author then I am sure you have read the Byrne Brothers series, which means you've been waiting and hoping that Shae gets her story. Well, it's here and it is as sassy as she is! I heart her bad! LOL
What I like most about a Jill Ramsower's story is that she focuses on the "main" character's journey rather than the "underworld" aspect of her stories. The underworld, or whatever term you want to use, still carries its own plot-point/storyline alongside, if you will, the MCs, but the focus is always on the MCs and their personal journey. It just so happens that she writes about people in the mafia. *shrug* With that backdrop comes mystery and suspense and the grey shadowy areas of life. That in itself is captivating if written right, which she does, but the twist that Jill pours into her stories is strong male and female main characters.
Honest to Pete, these two were fantastic! I could not have asked for a better couple! I've probably said that about previous characters of Jill's, but what matters is now and right now I LOVE RENZO & SHAE! I love their growth both as individuals and as a couple. Every circumstance in this story moved the story forward. It was just outstanding! The "forced proximity" trope to the story was unique and added a level of enhancement to solidify my belief in these two crazy kids! My gawd, I believed in them and I rooted for them both from the very beginning to the very end!
Let's talk 🎤 narration for a second. Whaaaaaaaaaaaat greatness was it to have Aiden Snow & Kelsey Navarro bring this story to life. It was epic greatness, that's what it was!! Kelsey grabbed on to Shae's character with both hands and never let go. She was perfect! And Aiden was just swoooooon! They both took their roles seriously and it showed!! 👏🏻👏🏻WELL DONE!👏🏻👏🏻

Non-stop action!!
If you are a fan of mafia, survival, forced proximity, he falls first romance with a super strong FMC, this one is going to be a great one for you. I myself am not usually a huge fan of a tougher than nails female main character but even I couldn’t help but fall for Shea. When she and Renzo find themselves in some trouble, they have a lot of time for introspection and the character progression that happens as a result was one of the best parts of this story. The non-stop action was a huge bonus and I devoured this in a day because it was so hard to turn off. This is definitely a story where he falls first and harder and on her end it felt a bit rushed but they really are perfect for each other!
Aiden Snow was the best choice for Renzo’s character because he had so many big and conflicting emotions and the narration highlighted each and every one so well. Kelsey Navarro Foster did such a great job voicing not only Shea’s character but her versatility with portray the male counterpart was really amazing! This was a great audio performance!!

Loved the narrators!
Craving Chaos was a dark, mafia, forbidden, forced proximity, rivals to lovers, he falls first romance. I had so much fun listening to this audiobook! The chemistry and tension between Shae and Rezzo was explosive and these two were so perfect for each other.
Kelsey Navarro Foster and Aiden Snow were so good as Shae and Aiden. I was fully immersed in this book and found it hard to put down.

Renzo & Shae!
Jill Ramsower knows what I love! Each of her books is fresh and original. This is spin-off from her Byrne Brothers series and it starts off with a bang! Shae Byrne is stranded in a plane crash with Renzo Moretti. This could be worse, right? They shouldn't get along being part of different family businesses, but close quarters can play with the heart. But what will happen to them once they are back in civilization? Will they find out the reason for the crash? Will they still have that same chemistry, or is it just a passing phase due to conditions? Ramsower weaves a web that is not the typical mafia romance. This couple is fun! Two bull headed people giving the best banter I have heard in a long time! It's suspenseful, and slow burn, and hot! Twists and turns that had me guessing and enjoying this to the very end. It's a fantastic start to the series and now I cannot wait to hear more!
Aiden Snow and Kelsey Navarro Foster could not have been better cast for this production. The alpha male, with a bit of broodiness comes through with Snow's voice. Foster gives Shae a snarky attitude, exactly as she is, and perfect. I loved this team and their telling of this romantic suspense.

I didn’t expect this!!!
I went into this book completely blind, I read the blurb when I signed up for the arc a few weeks ago so couldn’t exactly remember what it was about but boy I’m glad I didn’t remember! It was soo good; the twists and turns! They are both meant to be together!!!
5 star read, can’t wait for the next one!
