loved the new story, had me crying, laughing & listening to extra chapters through the night as the suspense built.

This was quite a good plot…. But the 2 main characters heaving , sighing, longing,….. that went on and on and on. Twas like a pair of Victorians having the vapours!!!

I loved this book a bit soppy in parts but that adds to the story it is sad that it is based on fact both men and women are in this tragedy every day. I also loved the person reading the voice suited the book

In this book, first published in 2003, we are introduced to the characters in Chicago; Dana, Caroline and the rest of the Hunter for clan.

The main story is about Caroline and how she becomes a different person as she escapes an abusive relationship.

As always, Karen Rose write an interesting story.

Enjoyed revisiting this story.
