As a very emotional and sensitive person I was intrigued by this book. I never thought of the idea of anxiety and stress affecting empathic powers. I believe that some people are more empathic than others and some people are more about themselves. It is a good idea to try to balance these personalities. Learning about these personalities can help you live a path of peace and controled emotions. This book explains theses personalities and how to balance these type of personalities very well. I agreed will what this book said about empaths and related to this type of personality. I learned more about the narcissist personality because I have not been around many people like this. I feel that I can now pick out these types of people and surround myself by the type of personalities I prefer. If you need some guidance on understanding your environment and how to make your relationships work for you this book is for you.

I really enjoyed listening to Empath & Narcissist by Samantha Archibald. I think all of us know at least one toxic narcissist in our lives, if not more than one. It is quite easy to fall victim to their entrapment without realizing it. This audiobook does a wonderful job of teaching us all how we can recover from their abuse and step into our own power. I really enjoyed the 10 most common traps to avoid too. Sometimes the red flags are staring us right in the face and we take too long to recognize them. Not anymore for me. There is also almost an hour of affirmations in this audiobook which are incredible too. Don't miss out on listening to this and changing your life for the better!

This audiobook is very insightful. Breaking free from narcissistic people and empowering your emphatic traits is demonstrated in this book. Perhaps, “applying the no contact rule”, in this book is one of my favorite takeaways. Narcissistic abuse can be experienced not only through physical but even verbally, and so this chapter is of value knowing that through this you can shield yourself from other ways of narcissistic relationship can impact you as a person.
