Most relevant  
Believable e and likeable protagonists. Antagonists too have great depth. The continuity within the series is excellent. I especially like the magic system.

Utter dissapointing

I've given up after 4 hours, I can't continue.
No world building; no idea if it's modern, medieval, high fantasy, no idea.
No character descriptions; only their hair colour is mentioned, no other traits or ages and features.
The inner voice and drugs they take have no explanation (though I'm sure they probably do later)
The worst of it all: the narration. The inflections on every sentence for no reason.
I've never given up on an audiobook before, especially after paying. But can't continue. Awful.
