A must for lore hunters!
if you can get over the sound affects and odd noises this book is a absolute banger, so many cool little facts, stories and lore i was pretty gutted when it ended, listen to it!!

The Best Audio Presentation Yet….
A great collection of short stories presented as full audio dramas with a great cast. The soundtrack and background effects makes this a true audio play collection as opposed to the usual single narrator. A selection of stories that gives a better insight into the early days of the Heresy.

Awesome
Fantastic stories with amazing sound effects to support the narrative.
More like this, it is an excellent production.

A couple of duds but otherwise fantastic
Good performances and mostly great stories filling in around the mainline books. The production quality is also very good and some of the authors have clearly leant into having sound effects and a full cast to work with.
A couple of the stories were a bit flat, though that's largely the writing's fault and they don't spoil the whole thing.

Brilliant! Great voice acting and audio effects.
This just proves that Anthologies are soooo much better in audiobook form.
'The Long Night', 'Iron Corpses' and several other short stories included especially stood out to me.
9/10

Half way to radio plays. Very good.
The stories here are presented with multiple voice actors and special effects. not quite a dramatisation but much of the way along that path. many of the stories (maybe all of them) appear elsewhere as narrated audio books but I preferred these. Very good.

Interesting short stories performed well
A mixed bag, but many interesting stories. For 1 credit, this is more than worth the purchase.

Heresy!
A fantastic listen and a great set of stories based in and around the heresy. It was very interesting to hear what was going on outside of the huge events that are mainly spoken of.
It gives the universe more depth and flavour.

interesting presentation..
purchased with credits based on the reviews and wanting to get into some more 40k lore.
great little short stories and something different to just following the Horus heresy books.
however this is purely personal opinion I couldn't stand the background noise and effects going on with each story. if it's your thing and gives you more immersion then all power to you! but for me I couldn't focus on the story and became immediately disinterested and couldn't get into hardly any of the shorts. I've tried a few times and it just didn't click for me.
feels harsh giving it a lower score because a lot of effort has gone into this clearly but it just wasn't my thing!

Great Overview
A great listen for newcomers. Heavy with Warhammer jargon, but not unapproachable. Well performed.
