I was looking forward to listening to this as I have been on the journey of fat girl slim but I got a bit of a suprise it's not really about that at all. The character isn't likable in my opinion a bit of a nutter, but the worst but if the book was the mistakes for example calling Justin Jason which made my replay that part a few times to make sure and saying she had taken her foot coverings off then in the next sentence stating she hadn't those are just two but I won't go on. I see there are several other books in the series but I won't be listening to them. not my kind of thing.

An engaging and original story, I couldn't guess where it was going. The narrator was brilliant, she got the characters perfectly.

Loved it. Not as funny as thought would be, but I was drawn to main character and her motivation. Though many times through story I did cringe at some of the things she did, impulsively listened to hear what would happen next. Not disappointed…. Eager to hear what happens next in her life

Great read. Twisty tipsy turvy character who you feel sympathy for, like and dislike all at once! Elements of us all in her I think! As for her mother.....
