Wow oh Wow, I am a huge fan of all of Adriana work anyways but it has been a long time since I have listened to a book with a huge smile on my face the whole time. Thank Adriana was gifting me a code to listen to this book.

This book is book 3 in the Carmicheal series and if you have already read or listen to the previous two you know how much of a laugh this family is especially the antics of Banks. Jess is just the swoon worthy guy that book boyfriends are made of, Pippa is a sweet loving girl that's what's to be loved but has never had that in her life and does not know what that feels like or if it's real.

This book will have you hot all over one min and laughing out load the next.

Samantha and Ryan have done a brilliant job at bringing these two characters to life, I could literally listen to this book over and over again.

Fluke is a super spicy and fun fake -relationship, friends to lovers romance that gave me all the feels. Jess is such a sweetheart and he immediately lobbies to make things real as Pippa tries to resist that Carmichael charm.

“Let me treat you like you’re mine. Pretend we’re in a real relationship. Give me that. I want a real chance to make you fall for me.”

The Carmichael brothers are so much fun and they bring all the swoon. I listened to the audiobook of this one and it’s definitely the way to go! The narrators were perfection (chef’s kiss)

This was my first book in this series and my first book by this author. It was a bit of a slow start but once you get into the story it is a lovely, sweet, and enjoyable story with a little bit of spice. Excellent dual narration. Will definitely be checking out the other books in the series.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve indulged in an Adriana Locke story and I forgot how feelgood, humorous and utterly enchanting her stories could be! Thank you, Adriana, for the opportunity to listen to Fluke this past weekend! It put a smile on my face for days!

Samantha Brentmoor and Ryan West did an exceptional job of bring this story to life for me. I’ve always had good experience with both these narrators and I’m happy to add another story to the list!

Fluke is one of those stories that you can easily get lost in for hours and not feel a bit of time has passed. It’s not a story driven by anything but delightful romance. There’s no real dramatics or over the top conflicts. There’s just family, friends and love :) It is a very refreshing story! I’m ready to dive into the previous two books in this series and keep a watchful eye out for what’s ahead!

He falls first (childhood friends), fake dating, large family, funny and steamy.

Jess - very swoon-worthy. Pippa doesn't want kids - love this as it's not seen often. But also has the I'm not good enough for you trope that I'm not really a fan of for the conflict.

Book 3 in the series but easy to read as a standalone.
Overall, a great, easy-to-listen-to romance.

The narration was excellent. Samantha Brentmoor and Ryan West were perfect choices.

I did liked this story, as much as I liked the previous book, and that's why I'm giving it a 3 stars for the book, but still 5 stars to the audiobook narration!

This book looks kinda of exactly like Fling (the second book in this brother's series).
The same "always loved her", the same "fear of commitment" from one of them, the same "quick trip getaway all in" for them to connect and enjoy themselves, the same "I need some time, things are moving too fast" separation conflict, even Banks acting as the neglected and abandoned child... There's too many plot/details coincidences between the two books to not mention or get bothered.

So as much as I enjoyed Jess and Pipa, I wasn't ready for a retelling of the previous book.

I'm still excited for Banks book, cause I know he won't disappoint me 😂.

Loved the story. It was easy to.listen to and the Narrators are excellent.
This is my first book from this Author, and the only thing that annoyed me everytime apart from once, is when the character repeats (seemingly in their head) word for word, something that was said to them previously. It makes me wonder if this was done to only get the word count up. 🤔
Only once, to me in the whole story, did it ass value.

This was my first Adriana Locke book and I will definitely be going back for more. I laughed and swooned and really enjoyed this book. I loved that is wasn't predictable, the story line was original and the Carmichael Family are hilarious. The narration was excellent as well. Samantha Brentmoor is one of my favourites and Ryan West was new to me and I enjoyed his performance too.

I really loved this book. It my favourite in the series so far, Jess is just one of those guys you can’t help but love.

He sweet, knows what he wants and not scared to go after it. The chemistry is off the charts with this book.
