I went through the entire gamut of emotions in this book! I laughed out loud (a lot), I ‘awwed’, I cried, I inhaled sharply with shock! Melanie Harlow’s writing is always impeccable and this book is no different. I had feared the subject matter would be heavy but Melanie writes it with such care and emotion that it is simply exquisite. And the narration is truly on point - Joe Arden is perfection as always and Virginia Rose has you feeling everyone one of Hannah’s emotions. I’d put off reading this for a while on the basis of the subject matter but I’m so glad I put it off no longer - I enjoyed every second of it!
