This has got to be one of my favourite Christmas stories!!! It's witty, heartbreaking, healing, poignant, powerful and so much more!!! I loved Ravi and Maddox. The grumpy and sunshine personalities were perfect together and added to the banter but also hid the pain and trauma these two men were holding onto.
The story is fast paced and the chemistry is off the charts! This is going to be in my re-reads I just loved it so much!!!

I've enjoyed every one of Gabbi Grey's stories so far, and Ginger Snapping All the Way is a perfect addition to the Holiday Re-Read shelf! This author has a real gift for building chemistry between the main characters, and Maddox and Ravi are a pair who are destined to be together.

Both men have absolutely heartwrenching stories, and thoroughly deserve a happily ever after. The way they bring out the best in each other, and compliment the other... a beautifully done opposites attract pairing.

Michael Dean does a great job, as always. His voice is perfect for these guys - he infuses humor into the light moments, and builds the emotion during the heavier scenes. And nobody can narrate a hot and heavy romance scene better. Nicely done!

I’ve only recently read my first few books by Gabbi Grey and I’ve enjoyed them very much. The previous ones I read were shorter books so Ginger Snapping All the Way is the first full-length novel I’ve read by her (actually I think it might be her first novel length book under this pen name).

Part of the reason I requested a review copy of this book is that I love Michael Dean’s audiobook performances; he’s on my favorites list. He made me feel all of the emotions the characters in this story were feeling and there were a lot of them. I can’t say enough good things about his performance of this story.

Both Ravi and Maddox have suffered losses in the past. The author did a good job of keeping my interest by not revealing what these loses were until quite away into the story. Things are hinted at but I never guessed what Ravi had been through until it was fully revealed.

I love books with dogs and Maddox’s sweet Sofia provided a lot of levity in places where the tension might otherwise have been a bit too high. The descriptions of the looks that Sofia gives to Maddox and Ravi reminded me so much of my fur-baby who crossed the rainbow bridge two years ago.

While this story has a fair amount of angst it also has a great HEA and a wonderful epilogue that takes place one year after the main story ends. I’ll be looking for more books by Gabbi Grey.

Ginger Snapping All The Way is an emotional but enjoyable hurt/comfort read as two men are snowed in together, forming a bond that then extends to help both heal from past hurts.
Maddox has turned into a little bit of a recluse/Scrooge since something that happened five years ago. He's called upon by his best friend to put up her girlfriend's brother after his plane is downed due to the snowstorm. Attraction is immediate between him and Ravi but they are both on the quiet side so it's small talk and attention showered on Princess Sophia, Maddox's dog. However, when Ravi's flight is further delayed, it gives them the chance to act on what they share and a connection quickly forms between them. It's very unexpected for two men who have been dealing with personal demons for several years but by slowly revealing themselves to each other and sharing their pain, they can possibly move forward.
I felt the pain that both Maddox and Ravi are carrying. Ravi is a fair bit slower in revealing his past hurts but they are no less than the grief and guilt that Maddox has been carrying. I enjoyed the slow burn of their emotional romance and also how quickly they seem to click physically. The setting is juts beautiful, snowed in in a perfect log cabin on the mountains sounds like my ideal. I loved the big gesture along with the small ones that mean so much, all adding together to build this new relationship. There are some wonderful friends that have been a huge lifeline to the MC's and show their support through this story.
My only thing is that it seemed to drag a little bit as we got towards the end but then I am so happy and love how everything turned out for them both, the epilogue especially brings out the big guns.
A recommended read that really works with the hurt/comfort and forced proximity trope.
Michael Dean is a wonderful narrator and so easily conveys the emotions of the characters and every scene. He makes it very simple to fall into the story and want to listen straight through to the end.

4.25/5 This is a touching holiday story where two men running from the past run into each other instead. I liked how Maddox warmed up to Ravi, allowing Ravi to see another side of him than the gruff antisocial man who avoided interactions. I liked how much they both actually cared and how their connection was unstoppable. I enjoyed the grand gesture, the therapy rep, and the healing of old wounds (or at least progress in that regard). And Princess Sophia was adorable and awesome!

Michael Dean did an excellent job narrating.

Now I’m off to see if Stanley really can be redeemed!

I absolutely loved this beautiful story.It had me hooked right from the beginning and, quite simply, I didn't want it to end. I adore both main characters and Michael Dean's sublime narration expertly brought their story to life. I also loved all of the other characters too!
I don't want to say too much about this,as I don't want to spoil this delightful story for anyone.

This story started off with bit of comedy, grumpy guy sort of stuck with a favor for friend meets this great looking guy who he is attracted to. Being stuck in a cabin during a storm brings out the painful pasts for each. The attraction turns into more but there is a lot of emotional issues to face. While there are plenty of triggers there is also hope. I believe the narration by Michael Dean made the story so much true to life.

MM, Forced Proximity, insta attraction, Christmas Contemporary Romance. Easy to listen to and great Characters, both of them having had a past tragedy that they haven't fully recovered from. Non stop action, plot twists and passion all whilst trying to deal with the past and cope with what's happening in the present time. Really great plot that keeps you guessing throughout.

I found myself entranced with this book. The storyline is good, if not a bit “wobbly” at times. I found Maddox and Ravi to be interesting separately, however together it falls a little flat at times. This book does give some emotions, but again they are few and far between. All and all it is a nice narration.
