About this listen

Danger, betrayal, and enticing forbidden love clash in book three of #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout's Harbinger trilogy!

When Angels Fall

Trinity Marrow has lost the battle and her beloved Protector. Even with both demons and Wardens on her side, Trin may not win the war against the Harbinger.

Bringing Lucifer back to the world to fight the Harbinger is probably a really, really bad idea, but they're out of options—and the world's ultimate fallen angel is the only being powerful enough to impact the outcome.

As Trin and Zayne form a new and more dangerous bond and Lucifer unleashes Hell on earth, the apocalypse looms and the world teeters on the end of forever. Win or lose, one thing is certain—nothing will ever be the same.

Great Trilogy

Would totally recommend this to anyone with a penchant for other worldly romance. Good characters and brilliant narration. I enjoyed all three books.

is oki

I love a strong female lead but she was annoying most of the time. To the point I thought I'd put this book series down.. but then I remembered she is not the reason I'm reading this. Male lead absolutely carried this book. He is yummy.

Enjoyed the fantasy, less so the romance

Probably my fault for not reading the genre properly. Ideas were interesting, characters quite compelling but the romance was just super bleaurgh for me, and I don't want to hear any more about his winter mint scent. I did finish the trilogy, so...🤷‍♀️

Absolutely brilliant

I have loved this series as much as I did the dark elements series. I am yet to find a JLA book I don’t like. The narrator of this series - Lauren, was absolutely brilliant, each character in the book was easily distinguishable by the change in her voice. Highly recommended series.

Brilliant!

I love all of jennifer l armentrout'books. But they're even better on audible. So when busy I can still have a earbud in and listen. This narrator is perfect. She does all of the different voices and makes the book come to life. After Rage and Ruin Trinity gets Zayne back but he's not the same. She has to find a way to restore him back to her Zayne. Love, love, loved it!

I’m the best in the series

Sometimes I didn’t like this series but it really grew on me. Would like to see more books like this.

Won’t finish

Everything is over explained and over described, yet somehow, despite the author writing the same thing over and over again, half the book is devoted to nonsensical wondering about things that are already beyond established. For instance: according to the MC lots of people can see ghosts because one of their ancestors is an angel. Despite that, half the book is devoted to the MC wondering if someone who’s got an angel parent is fertile. The book has enough content for a short story, the rest is just lack of editing and I will not finish it.

not the best Armentrout

I bought the last book in the series to finish but the infantile talk was not called for in serious situations. Good for 15 year olds

Disappointing

Maybe I am too old for this series but I usually like Jennifer’s books so decided to give this series a whirl. I found it quite infantile and beyond cringe in soo many parts. I nearly turned it off several times but wanted to know the outcome. Not great overall, wouldn’t recommend.
