Slower than the others but then it is book 8 after all and the stories action pace fits where the story is at, if that makes any sense.
Still an excellent book and superbly narrated by Heath Miller as usual.
Looking forward to book 9.

I hate getting to the end of each book because it means I’ve got to wait for the next one. Travis Deverell is a genius with his writing and Heath Miller is fantastic at his narration duties. I can’t recommend this series enough, I just wish Jason was British, real and voted in to 10 Downing Street.

8 books in and I'm still hooked. I can not wait for book 9 to see what Jason ends up neck deep in next!

Really enjoyable book that helps with the power creep of the past 5 or so books and puts Jason in a position to move forward in interesting ways. My only issue is there wasn’t enough time between Jason and his team but I feel like that’s being set up. Excellent performance as always and I’m already looking forward to book 9!

Excellent continuation of the story so far.
Personally, I would’ve preferred a bit more adventuring and more interrelationship exploring. I’m hoping/guessing this will come with the next book.
Other than than that. Heath’s performance was without much fault again and enjoyable to listen to.
Looking forward to the next one in the series.

everything from this series is amazing from character development to the story itself! it is very well read hats off best performances I've come across it just works and I am addicted.
