The best confidence builder
As I became older, I came to the realisation that conversing with other people may be a really challenging endeavour. It was difficult for me to maintain friendships since I was never taught how to initiate a discussion, how to continue participating in a conversation, or how to gracefully withdraw from a conversation. This is something that I have learned through reading this book. I am thankful to have this, and I really wish I had it a few years ago when I needed it.
The emphasis placed throughout the book on developing true relationships with other people rather than just "networking" was one of the aspects of the book that I valued the most. The author offers actionable guidance on how to have meaningful exchanges with other people and connect with them on a more profound level. In general, if you want to overcome your social anxiety and start enjoying the company of other people, I would strongly suggest listening to this book.

Helping Build my Confidence
This book was really helpful by giving me some great avenues for self reflection and practice so that I can feel more comfortable in crowds. As a child I was always the ‘quiet’ one and as I grew up, I had to force myself to talk to people. Yet, I was always still very introverted, and scared. Although still an introvert, this book is helping me to pick up where I was able to get to on my own. A good read and some great advice!

For those who want to improve communication skills
I enjoyed reading this book and learned so much about how to talk to others. I really liked that the author gave many specific examples of what to say in certain situations. The author’s suggestions for starting conversations and keeping those conversations going is stellar! I found the explanations of nonverbal communication cues were very informative as well. A great read, the author really knows what he’s talking about. Get this book if you’re shy or even if you just want to be better in all social situations.

A Great Audiobook!
When I was much younger I had this feeling of social anxiety, and I dealt with just being overly shy and just didn't want to talk to anybody. As I grew older I read books like these and this one is by far the best one I have listened to. I can comfortably recommend this audiobook as it is for anyone looking to improve their communication skills and build better relationships in both personal and professional settings. I can see how someone can gain confidence in just even intiiating small talk. This audiobook is great for building that confidence, and overcoming those obstacles. Great job to the author.
