About this listen
Power is returning to the world after millennia, ancient constructs are stirring back to life, and one man is doing his best to ignore all that noise.
Fischer has everything he needs in life: blossoming friendships, a menagerie of cute animal companions, a waterfront property with easy access to fishing, and enough coffee to take out a small elephant or a really big dog.
Unfortunately, Fischer can’t catch a break. Cosmic forces? Still throwing curveballs. The bigwigs in the capital? Starting to sniff around his business. Cults? Still culting. Plus, awakened beings are washing up on his shores like flotsam after a storm. And worst of all? His coffee guy ghosted him!
It’s a lot for one heretical fisherman to handle. Thankfully, Fischer isn’t alone. Between his trusty guard crab, a mischievous otter who can wreathe herself in lightning, and an adorable bunny eager to solve every problem with a roundhouse kick, he’ll be just fine . . . probably.
The second volume of the laugh-out-loud LitRPG adventure series—a #1 Rising Star on Royal Road with more than three million views—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

“I can’t think of a single story I’d rather get truck-kun’d (truck-kunned?) into than [that of] the vivid, lush world portrayed in Heretical Fishing, especially if I can hang out with Fischer and his gang. . . . The best book I’ve read this year.” —Matt Dinniman, author of Dungeon Crawler Carl

but he have no balls and finds her scary and try to divert development between them just because of what exacly?
He have found a place he wants to be but what???
Like its easy for her to want to take a step forward?
Im tired of listening to books about brave women with balls and cowardly men that have none when it counts...
Otherwise the book is not bad at all

Characters like Captain Claws🦀 and Sgt. Snips support our MC Fischer throughout adding comedic value.
Of course, any #litRPG would not be complete without a good levelling-up system and this book is no exception.
However, instead of fighting 🎣 our MC must fish for levels.
One of the many🐟 fish that our MC catches is a massive blue-fin tuna of which he dispatches quickly to serve to everyone in the village.
A lovely and well-written scene follows as it is dished up as sashimi- a delicacy of fresh raw fish- to the delight of our MC and villagers.
The narrator @veryheathmiller delivers a fantastic rendition with his usual 🇦🇺 Aussie charm, just as he does in #HeWhoFightsWithMonsters
His 🎤 voice is kind, caring, playful and ultimately mischievous, which suits this story down to a tee.
I also tip my hat to Jobson for the #JasonAsano #HWFWM nod who is referenced as a mythical god. It was like finding an🥚 easter egg hidden in the #litRPG realm.
In summary, this is a great book.
It is a tremendous 🥧 slice of life LitRPG that allows the reader to relax and listen to life at an easy pace📚5/5⭐️#bookreview

The character growth and the beautifully written varying perspectives leaves me in awe.
It was a lot more action packed than its predecessor without making it sour.
The perfect second serving
