COMPELLING, EVOCATIVE

My wife is an HSP, so I found this valuable book by Ruben Hassan very helpful in better understanding her emotional intelligence. I totally agree that this planet NEEDS sensitive people to promulgate the dream of a loving, more caring world.
When she gets a chance to listen, I can see that the seven powerful habits will be something she keys on. I particularly liked the section on the difference between a woman’s brain and a man’s brain. How refreshing to get back to the science and confirm that yes, there are two sexes, and yes, men and women are different.
I think that many, not just my wife, will find the seven habits to cope with painful memories and toxic thoughts balm for the soul. Implemented, these seven habits are a gateway to healing and balance for the HSP.
This is a lovely book, well-written and well-narrated.
Definitely recommended

Well, what can I say - all this time I thought there was something wrong with me, and now, thanks to this amazing book, I know that I am not alone in being highly sensitive and that it is not necessary to change who I am, but rather to make the most of what I am. This listen was amazing in bringing to light the various shades that are found in the emotional spectrum, allowing everyone to belong exactly as they are. Inspiring and redefining.

As a highly sensitive person myself, I have struggled with managing my emotions and dealing with painful memories and toxic thoughts. The author provides practical and actionable advice for HSPs on how to regulate their emotions and cope with difficult experiences. The seven habits outlined are easy to understand and implement, and I have already seen a significant improvement in my own emotional well-being as a result of incorporating them into my daily routine.

Very Helpful for Those with HSP

Having relatives that have HSP, this is a book that offers help to them on how they can still live life not feeling ashamed and how to better handle stress. This book helps bring an awareness on topics not very discussed. The author shows a great deal of insight into such topics that can help those of a wide variety of ages including those under 40. What I enjoyed is the discussions on empathy and how some can feel burned out on such as it can take a lot out of people.

You'll see a change

I got this book for my mom, and it's really a shelter for her emotions! Mom's going through a little bit of a mid-life thing right now, and I just want her to be strong and happy. This book is the key. The author guides you to handle your feelings better and stand up for youself. Mom always cares about what others say, but just from the first chapter, the author already reveals to you the difference between empirical facts and using emotional intelligence. I'm also seeing her use the 7 habits, and she's transforming right in front of my eyes. If you're a like my mom, who sometimes feels lost or too sensitive, this book is your guide to feeling awesome and not letting anyone bring you down. It's like having a friend who always has your back. i highly recommend it!

Informative

The author does a wonderful job of providing actionable tips for coping and managing stress, which is one of the hardest aspects of being a HSP. The narrator was great, and the enunciation made it so easy to focus on the book. I absorbed this as fast as I could, and I'm sure I'll be revisiting it to refresh my mind on the other aspects I might have missed. I listened to this during a stressful time, and my focus was mainly on stress management strategies, which were well explored.

Empathetic and empowering

One of my struggles as a HSP is feeling like I am too much because of my feelings. I loved how validating this book is. I got to see that my struggles are not unique. I enjoyed learning to change my perspective so that I can influence my feelings. It was also interesting to know that my feelings do not have to take the front seat all the time. That is going to be a difficult one to action, but it is much needed. Then of course, journaling and resting are a big part of winning this war.
