Now, more than ever, we are so often lost within a cycle of negativity - from comparing ourselves to others and doom scrolling on social media, to a paralysis of choice and chasing external gratification that does nothing to nurture authentic happiness. Luckily, with his candid, no-nonsense advice, experience and passion, James is here to lead the way.

"Meet the man changing the way you think about fitness. One of the most sought-after personal trainers in the world (who has) knocked current fitness It boy Joe Wicks for six and stolen the coveted crown of the fitness world." (Sunday Times Style)
"James’ book is the tough love version of life coaching. He tells you straight, refers to his own experiences in life and makes you laugh along the way." (Metro)

Somewhere in the middle, it clicked…
What was said in the middle?
Something about, if the juice was worth the squeeze.
I vibe with this thought daily, but then, near the end, he said, “put your thoughts on trial”.
So, this book encourages you (ALL THE WAY THROUGH) to put your thoughts on trial, which by default allows you to know if the juice of your life is worth the squeeze.

Haven't finished yet but...
Already taking a lot from this book and I've barely started. Thinking about how confident people are, are confident people worried or excited. Closed or open minded? (Paraphrasing) I took so much from these few lines that got me thinking about the person I want to be. Paused as going to the talk next week but worth the purchase already!

Just Great!!!!
I was hesitant to listen to an audiobook by James Smith, because of his reputation of swearing like a sailor. However, after watching his interview on the Diary of a Ceo, I warmed to his personality. Since, his interview on the Diary of a CEO was to promote this book, I thought why not give this book a listen. This book is filled with insights on confidence, from study to theorists theories as to types of confidence and fun-facts of the origins of idioms. James is thorough in his research and through this book and challenges preconceived notions. If the insights from this book are adhered too, you to will be more confident.

I’m confident you’ll like this
What you get from this sort of thing can vary on you as a person and how you approach life. So I can only review it from what it’s done for me. It’s definitely worth a listen and I’m confident you will come away from listening to the audiobook better than you started. It reinforced what I knew but also told me somethings I didn’t. It is read by the author and and I never got bored but I did listen to it a bit each day.
If you want something that’s very in-depth then this may not be for you.
I would recommend this audiobook.

An enjoyable listen.
An enjoyable listen. I think the point of the book gets lost on the way and then he brings it back home in the end chapter. N as good as his first two books but still a book I’d recommend.
