I really enjoyed listening to the story of Cora and Marcus. There were a lot of instances where Cora was very naive and I found myself yelling at her “no, no” but I understand the importance of that to the story. On the flip side, I appreciated her naivety because I think there is a lot more to Marcus then the dark and angry side that he shows most of the time. Without her being willing to see the bright side of things, I don’t think she would have been able to pull Marcus out of his shell as much as she did.

This is a good dark romance if that is what you are looking for, there is a very dark side that Marcus holds just below the surface. 

The narrator did a good job at bringing the characters to life, but I would have LOVED to have dual narration for this. I have already started the second book, and I am excited to see where it goes. I am grateful I was able to start the second one so soon because the ending of this was a bit of a cliff hanger.

If you love an Alphahole then you will love this book! Sexy Dominant Alpha and the innocent virgin bring the heat! It didn't take long for me to get fully invested and now I'm patiently waiting for the next to come to audio. Jack Calihan really shows what a talented narrator he is with this one. No complaints all raves from me

This book was amazing. It was also a heart wrenching emotional rollercoaster! There has to be more because I can not accept the ending. LOL

Jack is one of my absolute favorite narrators. His deep, sexy voice brings so much life and passion to the books he narrates. I just love everything he does.

This was a gripping, emotional read. I loved the way the characters were portrayed. But be warned if you want a sweet fairy tale romance, this isn't it!
Beautifully gritty and deliciously twisted.
Loved it and Jack Calihan brought it to life brilliantly.

Another riveting collaboration by Stasia Black and Lee Savino, the two authors make an unbelievably great team. The storyline is dark, intense, sensual and utterly engaging loaded with unexpected twists and turns. The main characters are three-dimensional, fascinating, intriguing, and with depth.

Cora is beautiful, naive, innocent in the ways of the world, and hidden within her is an incorruptible inner-strength. Marcus is enigmatic, powerful, and cunning with the classic alpha male tendencies. Together, their romance is a passionate whirlwind, enthralling the listeners/readers.

Jack Calihan's performance is beyond outstanding. He is exceptionally talented, who hones on the very essence of the narrative and characters, bringing is all to life for the listeners. His telling will sweep you away and draw you into this story. I can't wait to hear the rest of the series!

This book was written for Jack to narrate. Absolutely fantastic storyline with a tough Alpha and great chemistry. As you can tell I am a fan of Jack’s and I have previously read the ebook of Innocence but Jack brings the characters alive so very well. I’m hoping that you get to narrate the rest of the books in this series.
