Agent Isaac Steele has problems. He spends all his splibs on drink and drugs. He has some deep-seated and very much unresolved issues with his parents. And his robotic partner at Greatest Britain’s Department of Clarification, Dr Timothy Stephens, is ruled more by his heart than his hard drive.

But all these issues take a back seat when Isaac stumbles upon a case involving the most sensitive information in the cosmos - a Never File, inaccessible to all except those with the highest clearance. He is expressly forbidden to involve himself. So naturally he does.

So begins an investigation that will take him across the Discovered Universe, into the path of the mysterious Forever Man, and eventually to answers about his past. Along the way, he will have to contend with aliens, robots, monsters, bureaucrats and, perhaps most deadly of all, his own numerous flaws.

Written and narrated by BAFTA award winner Daniel Rigby (Eric and Ernie, Flowers, Black Mirror), not since The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy have listeners been offered such a joyful, anarchic and insightful universe.

In these days of binge consumption, it's rare for me to read or listen to a book more than once. I have listened to Isaac Steele and the Forever Man several times and still find myself wanting to listen again. For me it has everything that makes it a very funny sci-fi epic.

I can't wait for the next installment.

As if Tramadol and Star Wars had offspring. I was a man child giggling away at the misadventures of a futuristic man child. An absolute joy of a listen.

Absolutely loved this book. Some real laugh out loud moments, the narration is spot on and the one liners are delivered brilliantly. The story is good but it’s the humour that makes this. Would definitely recommend if you like smart sarcastic one liners

This book was not my usual genre. But I loved it! Loved the way it’s written (laughed a lot), loved the way it was read and loved the story! Please please please, I need more! Can’t wait for the next book.
Only problem I have now, is that no other audio book comes close. So whilst I wait for the next book, I will be constantly disappointed with other audiobooks! ☹️

honestly one of the easiest and best things I've finished,

binged it in two days as I enjoyed it so much, the plot was connected and interesting. The characters funny and entertaining

my favourite had to be the mayor.

audio was smooth and to an extremely high standard.

Loved this, any fan of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy should give it a go. I was giggling on the first few minutes … in fact, this book is the first time I’ve ever bothered the use the “clip” feature on Audible. Fantastic stuff, need more please!
