About this listen
The Montgomery Ink Legacy series continues with a workplace fling romance that starts off with a literal bang.
Daisy Montgomery Knight is about to meet her match when it comes to Hugh Hendrix.
One look across the aisle at a wedding and I fell in lust.
He’s on the bride’s side. I’m on the groom’s.
But by the end of the night, we’re against a wall, over a table…and in bed.
I’m prepared never to see him again except in my memories.
Only the next week things become awkward: I’m his new boss.
And it turns out he’s just as demanding outside of the sheets as beneath them.
We need to stay away from each other—he has his demons, as well as an adorable little girl, and I’m trying to heal after a job gone wrong.
I know I need to walk away…even if neither one of us wants to.

Daisy is co owner of the Montgomery security company and while at a wedding meets a very handsome British red head that has a very hot night.
Hugh moved to Denver to be a full time dad to his adorable 6yr old daughter.
First day in his new job he meets his boss that the sexy woman he slept with at a friend’s wedding.
Absolutely love how badass Daisy is but she is struggling because of previous injuries she got while on the job. All the family are treating her like an invalid but they are just worried.
The narration is amazing with both Shane East and Kit Swan but I won’t lie I do prefer if this was done in a duet rather then each narrator ready a chapter each. When you got the amazing Shane East doing a beautiful narration it should be used for all the lines the main character does.
Kit Swann was amazing and had a surprising British accent.
OMG love Shane East

The way that Daisy and Hugh met and keep meeting, and the way that Daisy knows EXACTLY what Lucy is going through (her and Nora are mega cute and will steal your hearts) makes it so much sweeter.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and highly recommend it...... Enjoy it with a scone and a pot or two of tea perhaps

Narrated by Kit Swann and Shane East - they both did a great job keeping me in the story and feeling the emotions portrayed.
Loved Daisy and Hugh!

Daisy is feisty and is determined to not let what she has been through impact her life. The chemistry she feels for Hugh is undeniable but because of a similar experience she and his daughter connect in such a deep way that it soon becomes apparent that they all belong together.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship develop between Daisy and Hugh as well as Daisy and Lucy. Great chemistry, a little suspense and all the feels as I can never get enough of the Montgomery clan. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as you could feel not only the swoony British accent of Hugh but the resilience of Daisy’s character as well.

I knew after meeting Daisy in previous novels that her time up to bat would be well worth the wait, and I wasn't disappointed!
What starts as two, never met before, guests 'celebrating' a wedding together very quickly, and awkwardly, develops into something more forbidden .
Daisy and Hugh's navigation through this awkward period is enlightening and not quite as 'under the radar' as they'd hoped.
As readers, we are led through their story expertly, with many twists, turns and even some humour.
All in all, Last First Kiss is a really good addition to the Montgomery Ink legacy catalogue.
Daisy and Hugh...sigh!
