Great series continues
I've been waiting a long time for this to be released. High quality just like the rest of the series, enjoyed it a lot.

Captivating
You would not think it was possible, but it just keeps getting better. I recommend anyone to listen to the whole series. Amazingly written, amazingly told. The MC is great, and the GoT-esque (sorry for the trope) story unfolding will keep you captivated throughout. I will definitely check out more work from both the author and narrator while waiting for the next release.

Amazing, just so damn amazing!!!
really loves so many things about this book. the social interactions between larks followers and the emperor. loved the vice master of the 4th towers loyalty to lark, really love how each one of the people that come to know lark, would easily die for him without hesitation. love the new 5th prince character, really felt he was experiencing the depth of leadership and it truly showed his struggle. the night and day character transformation of the emperor hahaha, too funny, every interaction with black or the dragons is just 10/10 soul lifting for me. finding out about the warrior power rating list, espcially the wanderer or whatever it was called, sage??? great. but i was continually surprised by the demon kings intrigue and honor. so surprise that i was kinda a mess by the end of the book, pretty sad, surprisingly so. last but not least, was dying to know the exact thoughts above the emperors head at the end. how could people not love this story, every character feels so real. the emperors chief advisor is such a great character also. lol.
