About this listen
In this collection of guided meditations, hypnotic inductions wake up tracks and teaching excerpts Mindfulness of Dream and Sleep teacher Charlie Morley presents his first ever audio product to help us sleep more mindfully and dream more lucidly.
Based on over 13 years of personal experience and the best of both Western and Tibetan Buddhist sources these tracks allow the listener to unlock their own innate capacity for lucid dreaming and mindful sleeping through transformative guided meditations and explorations of their dozing mind.
Using music from cutting edge producers such as Fybe: One (featured on BBC 6 Music), hypnosis scripts and inductions from Valerie Austin and Katie Glen (hypnosis experts), and binaural technology from Dr Phillip Davis (Monroe Institute board member) this is not your usual 'go to sleep' CD but rather a collection of inspired tracks designed to wake you up to the third of your life that you spend asleep.

What made the experience of listening to Lucid Dreaming, Conscious Sleeping the most enjoyable?
This is an extremely well planned Cd where Charlie has used a number of different techniques to help you understand, integrate and explore Lucid DreamingI have yet to meet Charlie but I have meet some of the people he identifies as his teachers Without doubt as well as Charlie's own experience he had sort out excellent teachers that make this Cd and the book exception in both detail and accessibility
I have only had the Cd for two weeks so - the benefits to so far have been around being much more aware of my sleeping patterns and using the final track ( which is a hypnotic relaxation and guide ) remembering more of my dreams
I recommend this to you all

It is short enough to listen to the entire book if I am struggling to fall asleep and being to the point means that I can fall asleep 15-20 minutes into the book and expect some strange dreams that night.
It sounds a little bizarre that I can experience unusual dreams after listening to a short amount of a book. However, I put it down to the fact that I have raised my conscious awareness of the dreaming process so therefore I notice them.
I could possibly benefit from trying to remember my dreams more and try capturing the essence in a notebook at the side of my bed when I wake. Although, my dreams are fun and I don't want to take them seriously and risk losing that fun.
Pretty good...

Charlie's words are clearly very carefully chosen – every sentence counts and is there for a reason. His gentle, soothing voice is compassionate and lulling – but this is potent stuff! It carries a powerful punch in terms of its efficacy. I can’t wait for bedtime tonight to listen again.
Just what the sleep doctor ordered
