About this listen
You can’t fly without falling, so close your eyes and let go.
People ask me if I’m human. If I have feelings. If I’ve ever loved anyone. I’m the lawyer who has never lost a case because I have nothing else to live for.
Until Jonah.
He’s my complete opposite: a reckless boy 12 years younger than me, made of sunshine and wicked smiles, pure and breathtaking.
It all starts with a secret. He wants to find out if he’s bi, and he begs me to teach him because we’ll never see each other again.
Until he shows up on my doorstep with nowhere else to go. I can’t draw lines faster than we blur them. He’s the unstoppable force; I’m the immovable object. When we collide, things get filthy. Complicated.
More beautiful than I ever could have imagined.
He’s the only person ever to learn the truth: I’ve always been human. I’ve always had feelings. I’ve been so, so afraid to lose.
Because the moment we find enough trust to jump is the moment we realize our wings might be too broken to fly.
A heartfelt, emotional story of two lonely souls searching for meaning, featuring a bi awakening, grumpy/sunshine opposites attract, an age gap, and a main character with a disability.
The books in this series take place in the same universe and have recurring characters, but each book is a stand-alone that can be listened to separately or in any order!

Great follow on
After the emotional ups and downs from book one, we are introduced properly to Gray, a lawyer to Victor. Although these books share characters, they can be read as stand-alone.
Gray, a work-driven, non-personal-life lawyer, meets Jonah. Can Jonah change how Gray thinks about life and himself?
The emotional ups and downs you go through as a reader can be intense, but Jonah, I either felt sorry for him or got a little mad at him. This book did pull at the emotions. I love books with disabled characters in them.
Great narration by both narrators. Both narrators are new to me and did exceptional jobs, but I had to speed up to 1.40 on Audible, which is usual for me.

Wonderful Story & Listen🎧 Engrossing & Emotional!
Riley Nash pens another amazing novel set in her “Water, Air, Earth, Fire” series, and I loved everything about it, from Nash’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines he created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. I also loved the complexity of these characters and the world building is fantastic. I adored Jonah Scott, a farm boy from Iowa, on his way to law school in New York, he appears carefree and happy-go-lucky, but he has a lot going on inside his head and he is still trying to figure it all out. He spills his secrets to his seatmate on the flight to New York, a nice-looking guy who was a little older than him who has his nose buried in a book. Telling him he thinks he may be bisexual, the guy more than entertains him, he gives him his first experience with a man, one he would not forget. Grey is an attorney who is on a mission to help those who need justice, he handled Victor Lang’s case and it was not an easy one, knowing what he went thru. Jonah was his mile high encounter, but that was not the last he would see him again, though he did not know it then. Jonah is a first year law student at Bennet H.Tyler School of Law and the two wind up in each other’s path once again. The emotions pour off the pages of this beautifully plotted, opposites attract romance and straight into your heart. The story is captivating from start to end and has the perfect balance of drama, a touch of angst, heartfelt emotions, and some steamy romance. Riley Nash, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Michael Gallagher and Theo Sinclair did a wonderful job bringing these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, and their performance of the two lead characters was perfection and was believable in every role they played. You could hear how much heart they put into work as they capture the character’s emotions and project them into their performance and have you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Awesome story and brilliant narration
This is one of those books that got me interested based on the blurb and then completely blew me away. Wow, this was unexpected!
Both the author and the two narrators were new to me. "Make Me Fall" is the second book in a series, but it can easily be read or listened to as a standalone.
The writing style is wonderful and I was very quickly into the story. It wasn't difficult at all and I must say that I was captivated from beginning to end and listened to the audiobook with only a few pauses. And now I am hooked and want to read or listen to more from both the author and the narrators.
Gray and Jonah are two completely different characters - from age, from background, from their personalities. While one has a sunny disposition, the other is rather grumpy. But together they harmonize perfectly, you can feel the extraordinary chemistry, sparks fly. Unfortunately, life isn't perfect and so each of them has their own struggles to fight. On the one hand, this makes the protagonists interesting, and on the other hand, it makes the story very varied and entertaining. I loved Jonah, he is strong, even if he doubts himself a lot, but he goes his way. And I enjoyed seeing Gray come out of his shell, even though he struggles with many things both professional and personal.
The secondary characters were also very interesting and I will definitely be getting the first volume in this series to find out their story.
I loved everything about this book, but Jonah and Gray's moments together were very special, whether they were talking, having different opinions, steamy scenes, or just being together. The book has everything I need for a good entertaining story that I will definitely listen to another time: Fascinating protagonists, lots of emotions, a great storyline and a unique chemistry between the two.
The audiobook was narrated by Michael Gallagher and Theo Sinclair, neither of whom I knew, but who did a brilliant job. It was easy to follow them both. They found the right voices for the protagonists, the pace was very comfortable and they narrated emotionally, bringing the book to life. An absolute entertaining listen!
Highly recommended!

Emotional, poignant and powerful!
I find Riley's writing style refreshing and packed with every nuance of emotion as the characters unfold and the story is told.
I was curious about Gray after reading book 1 and when he meets his sunshine bi-curious whirlwind, you know nothing will be the same.
These two have been through so much in each of their own lives but they fit together like perfect opposite puzzle pieces. I felt for both these men as they faced their past, present and possible future's.
I was captivated by the first scene and totally invested by the next. I'm loving Riley's stories and look forward to Oliver's and every other story Riley writes!! Fantastic!

Absolutely loved it
This is the best MM romance I’ve listened to in quite some time. There was just the right amount of angst , heart warming moments and Jonah made me laugh quite a lot. Grey & Jonas were just perfect and loved the ending so much it’s a book I will be listening to again.

Audiobook obsession reviewer, Flock reviewer
This is a wonderful book that is brilliantly written and just such an amazing listen. The characters are unique and their journey to a better life for themselves was just magical to listen to. I love the grumpy/ sunshine mix especially when it is done like this one where the grump isn’t over the top but is able to give the sunshine character what they need. I also loved that although this can be a standalone that previous characters had a cameo in this one. I cant wait for the next one.
This is an amazing book and the narration gave so much feelings and personalisation to the characters.

What’s beneath
This is my second Riley Nash audio and I’m so glad I snagged it. I really love Michael and Theo’s poignant portrayals of Jonah and Gray.
My heart ached for both men – for very different reasons.
Gray appeared in the first book in the series and I got a good sense of him – once Victor revealed his truth and Gray was forced to face his own complicity. He’d been willfully ignorant and, upon seeing the truth, vowed to change. He took on Victor’s case and won. Now he’s planning to take on other cases from underdogs. People who’ve been wronged. People needing justice. That kind of untapped need and pain that was driving him can be powerful. His backstory is also super tragic.
Jonah’s not what he first seems. He’s a law student who obviously worked hard to get into the law school – but he struggles at every turn. He’s able to overcome his physical disability, but he still struggles in school. He’s also trying to figure out where he fits in the world. He’s always seen himself as straight. His parents see him as a successful law student. The truth is some gray space in between. And when everything comes to a head, it’s Gray who’s there to help Jonas pick up the pieces.
Both men have a lot going on and their paths appear to be completely divergent. I honestly didn’t see how their relationship could work. But that’s Riley Nash’s magic – things did come together and I did get my happy ending. And, OMG, the epilogue was perfect.
I’ve snuck a peek at the synopsis for the next book and I can’t wait – hopefully it comes to audio soon.

Opposites
Gray was in the first book in this series and I was so glad to see this author was giving him his story.
Gray and Jonah are so totally different in personality, career and lifestyle. They meet on an airplane and their relationship starts on a comic flight. Gray is still trying to get over what had happened with Victor. He feels guilty about not seeing what was happening around him. He has is moving to start new. Then he meets Jonah who is headed to college. Jonah is doing this more for his parents than as something he wants. He sort of stumbles through everyday. Jonah is curious about being bi and he proceeds to ask Gray to teach him what that means. Needless to say that in itself is a pretty entertaining part of the story. Their interactions grabbed my attention and they way the author described the different situations they face kept me page turning. The narration by Michael Gallagher and Theo Sinclair gave more personality to these characters. I wish the next book was on audio but hopefully it will be soon.
