This story will have you glued till the end it is a bit slow at the beginning . It’s a slow burn love story . The author wrote about 2 souls that loved each other but somehow was kept apart . Both the Hero and Heroine had l
problems that they had to face at the beginning of the story .
Hero is Vinny . Heroine is Marley. They both came from 2 different worlds. Vinny came from money and wealth but something went wrong. He turns to alcohol and drugs . And he gives up on Marley at the time . Marley gave from the wrong side of the tracks , had a hard life . Vinny gets cleaned up and he wants Marley back .
Marley gets engaged to Vinny brother Lloyd but Vinny wants her back .
Both performance by Gregory and Lacy were great . Gregory deep husky voice for Vinny was great. His performance for Lloyd who was a bad apple was great also . Lacy performance for Marley was strong

Loved

A romance filled with all kinds of emotions to keep you going till the very end. Lacy and Gregory were amazing and really brought this story to life. They brought the story and character feelings to life with their telling. Will certainly be checking out more by this author and others with these narrators.

Not what I expected from the title, Way better!

They say soulmates meet over and over again, until they get it right. Well this is exactly what happens with Marley and Vin. After dating for 4 years, Marley moves on while Vin is stuck where he is. They meet back up at an engagement party for Vin's brother. Marley is the fiancee! Trying to hide their past does not work well for either of them and so begins a very emotions and heartfelt story. I fell hard for Vin. I always love the underdogs, and that is where Vin is sitting. He is full of regret, sadness and remorse. The perfect man to pull on your heartstrings. Mine were not the only heart strings that were pulled on. There is so much to love in this story. Shanora Williams delivers a romance that lingers long after the book is read.

Lacy Laurel and Gregory Salinas really bring this book to life. Through their narration, I got lost in the story and could not stop listening. Laurel brings Marley to life. A woman torn between her past and future, Laurel brings all of those struggles and emotions out. I felt them all, along with Marley. Salinas is fabulous with his narration of Vin. Vin is a complex character and struggling with so many deep emotions. Salinas really brings this all to life and my heart really broke for Vin. I look forward to hearing more from both narrators.

Second Chance Romance

I really enjoyed this book. He is the black sheep and finds out the ex girlfriend that he let get away is marrying his half brother and he is supposed to be apart of the wedding and happy for them. It gets sticky and you don’t want to stop listening. The narration was great. I definitely recommend this book. 🎧Audiobook Obsession

lost for words

oh Shanora Williams certainly knows how to rip out your heart stomp on it and put it all back together again healed , I was not expecting what happened in this book to happen at all , but whilst it was heartbreaking it made the story all that more special and heart felt, I am at a loss for words really on how to write this review
just know you NEED to read or listen to this book !
I would totally recommend listening however, as the narrators really brought this book to life and made it all the more special !

I can't stop thinking about Vinny!!

a roller coaster of emotions, twists, and turns that you won't see them coming,
the story of Marlene and Vinny. I really enjoy my Fiance's brother as I really didn't expect so many things that happened that made the story even more intriguing and more enjoyable. the love between Marlene and Vinny was very intense no matter how much they tried to hide it and even trying to forget and start a new life but life kept bringing them together and making it impossible to forget about their past. I really didn't expect the evilness of some of the characters. I really didn't see that coming but it made perfect sense why Vinny was the way he was and why he separated himself from the people he loved. it brought me to tears and also made me smile once we finally understood the story of the main characters..

Shanora has a way with her words and stories making you want to keep reading and my fiance's brother was not the exception it had all the perfect ingredients to make this story great. angst, love, intriguing moments and two amazing characters that will keep you wanting to know more and more about them..

The narrations by Lacy Laurel and Gregory Salinas really brought to life these amazing characters, their feelings, and emotions making the story even more enjoyable and more intriguing.. I really felt every situation the main characters were going through because of the great work Lacy and Gregory did.. really enjoy their work so much.

Great Story with Many Twists

I received this audiobook free for an honest review as a member of the Pink Flamingo Productions review team. This book had it ups and downs. Meaning, there is such an intriguing back story that the listener/reader can't stop listening/reading. I was so rooting for Vin throughout. I didn't want him to slip back into his old habits. He is such a strong character. But, then again, so is Marley. You can't put the story down until you to find out what is going on with Vin and his family and Marley's background. Great writing. The narrators were also excellent. They brought the story to life.

Two Words

I have two words to describe this book; Heart Wrenching! It was so beautifully written, with characters that you just wish you really knew. The story of Vinny and Marley is tragic, in one sense, yet it is very inspiring. This one will bring some tears to your eyes. It will shock you.

This author just knows how to write about a very tortured soul, both male and female. And definitely knows how to write a love scene. By far, a top listen for me. The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing the story to life.

Sweet story - Past and present

A really great second chance story, where the guy sees his past mistakes, which for me is really refreshing.

I really enjoyed that the story focused on both characters and the choices (and mistakes) they made or makes throughout.
It was a cozy listen, with great narration!
