Loved the new order forms, the powers, the non-stop action, the truly wicked characters. The twists are brutal, but I enjoyed every second of the book, nonetheless. Can't wait for book 2! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a TRUE enemies to...whatever they are :)) five pure stars from me!

What a great start!
I was unsure if the sisters would be able to top their series within Solaria, and oh boy was I wrong. This society is brutal, and makes Solaria look like all unicorns and rainbows.
I love the new characters and the new orders we are introduced to. The storyline is intriguing and I love the mystery aspect of it.
The last few chapters had me hanging on the edge of my seat, clutching my bleeding heart! I need the next book ASAP.

The audio performance was superb. Bridget captured Everest's anger and Vesper's arrogance perfectly.

It was ok but it took me a long time to get into it, I’ve read pretty much everything else from the authors and this definitely wasn’t my favourite. I had to listen to it sped up because it was so slow at some parts

I couldn’t get fully into this book at first. I persisted since I enjoy the authors other works but I didn’t feel invested in the characters or the world. The narrators were amazing though and still brought the characters to life, even if I didn’t feel much for them. However as the story went on and I got to know the characters better they’ve become some of my favourites. I feel such emotion for Vesper and all she’s been through and curious about Everest and her abilities. I can’t wait for the next!

I have been in love with all things Zodiac Academy ever since the first release. I was sad to see it end, but then we were given this absolute beauty of a spin off series that also isn't interlinked. It was narrated beautifully by my favourite duo of Bridget and Jake, who really knows how to tell a story. Eagerly anticipating book two!

I did like the plot, but felt it was really stretched out. There were a few times I was thinking of giving up. I’m all for slow starts and long books, but this could have been shorter, far too much internal monologue which was very repetitive.

The ending though was great and the only reason I’ll give the next book a chance.
