FROM THE HOST OF THE GLOBALLY ACCLAIMED 'ADHD CHATTER' PODCAST

Aged just 21, Alex Partridge founded UNILAD and LADBible, social news sites which now have a following of 100 million people around the globe. A legal case over ownership in 2017 tipped him over the edge of the cliff into alcoholism, triggering years of mental health issues until, aged 34, he was diagnosed with ADHD.

Now it all makes sense.

In his chart-topping podcast, ADHD Chatter, Alex has spoken to dozens of experts on ADHD and related conditions in a bid to understand and improve outcomes for the neurodiverse population - and this groundbreaking book brings them all together, for the first time, in one place.

A blend of lived experience and expert insight, this deep dive into ADHD has the power to change your life. If you've ever wondered why you can't remember those critical appointments, how you can be hyper-focused one minute and down a YouTube rabbit-hole 30 seconds later, or why do people walk so slowly? then this relatable and unashamedly honest book is for you.

Written with Alex's trademark raw vulnerability, Now It All Makes Sense distils the essence of all the most important need-to-knows, from parenting with (and for) ADHD, to managing your mental health, your finances and even your shopping list. Most importantly it celebrates the opportunities and strengths, unique skillsets and positive traits of ADHD to remind you that you are NOT broken - and you are enough.

It felt like Alex had climbed into my brain and told my own story at points.
I finally felt heard and understood and not alone. I sobbed from the recognition of it all, and the knowledge that I am not just some over emotional, lazy weirdo with crazy issues and ideas who can never follow through with things.
It has given me so much insight, and ideas that I will be using to help myself.
I just need to find a way to get my partner to be open to listening to or reading this book so they can better understand me (they don't believe in ADHD) but I feel if they read/listened to this book they would see so much of me they would no longer be able to deny it, and we could make our relationship so much better for both us and our child (who likely has ADHD themself).
Thank you Alex, from the bottom of my heart.

Brought clarity and made me a laugh at myself (in a good way) - good for someone to listen if their friend/daughter/son/partner etc has ADHD

Felt seen

The book is a layman’s terms way of looking at ADHD its its extraordinary affects on the lives of those with it.
It’s made realise I am more than enough and I always was.

Having known, worked, played, lived, loved (and lost) people with ADHD, this book is a must read for anyone that wants to further understand themselves, or those they care about who are neurodivergent. 💙

The epitome of authenticity and ADHD!

A little repetitive at times, but really helpful and easy to listen to. Thanks Alex

Now it all makes sense! It really does, shared with my NT husband and my 17yo daughter, hoping it will all make sense to them too!

Everything I needed to hear

I like the way this book flowed. It was the perfect listen for someone with ADHD. So far, it is the most informative ADHD book that I have read. Thank you Alex

This resonated with me so much and so helpful.... I just wish it was longer..which is something are hardly ever say! Thank you Alex! You're amazing and an inspiration. I have laughed along with the understanding of those ADHD quirks, liked the hints and tips and "hacks"
and the very last thing you said in this book... when a relative said you was "rude" is wrong... I had this experience recently and it broke my heart? Not realising what I'd done anything wrong... well now I know I didn't nothing wrong and I was in a hyper focus THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME FEEL ACCEPTED AND NOT A BAD PERSON xxx

Wow! Enlightening!

This is without a doubt the most helpful information I have read about ADHD, but I have issues with the Author, the clear entitlement narrative and him speaking on behalf of Woman like me, Firstly, I don't need a man, especially one who started a company that regularly used, and I quote "misogyny sickeningly disguised as banter". to speak on my behalf, ever.
Secondly the humble Alex who first appeared on the podcast has seemingly changed and not for the better. He speaks in this book about buying two irons!! Two of everything in face l fact. Great solution if you are a millionaire maybe, but what if your deciding on a daily basis between heating your home or eating?
There is a clear disconnect now in Alex that means he's lost something valuable he used to have, between when he started the podcast and writing this book. Please stop speaking on behalf of Woman, we can speak for ourselves and please stop thinking everyone is a rich as you, adhd can cause true poverty which is something you neglected to mention in this book. Despite my clear dislike for the person who wrote the book, it is a well put together compilation of amazing guest speakers who have imparted really useful information and that's why everyone who knows someone with adhd or has it themselves would probably benefit from reading this book.

Best ADHD book I've read but...
