About this listen
“Ollie, I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you not to scream.”
HER
We met by chance at a random dive bar.
Him—a striking figure in a tailored suit who radiates dominance.
Me—an awkward introvert, innocently stalking my father.
He seduced me.
Worshipped me.
Then, in a blink, he vanished, leaving no trace—not even a name or number.
HIM
I wasn’t supposed to see her again.
We were never meant to meet in the first place.
But here we are:
Her—half asleep after passing out at work.
Me—caught sneaking into her family business in the middle of the night.
She has no clue who I am—that I’ve just settled into a ruthless birthright position within the Italian mafia. Or that her family legacy plays a role in my illegal activities. But I have a feeling the dead body at my feet might bring her up to speed.

one click author for me!
this whole world Eden has created is just fab, I've loved every book from the very beginning of the hunting her series. I can't wait for the next instalment, especially as they all have such fab performances from the narrator's. I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series.

Another fabulous listen and 2nd in this series
I have read everything this fabulous lady has written and this has taken my breath away and spoiled me for future reads. I never wanted to reach The End.
Remy is a morally grey hero, caught up with the dirty side of his family business, he meets Ollie in a night club and then again while breaking the law, and using her place of work to do it. Olivia is entrenched in the family business and happy to keep the world on her doorstep. She neither wants or needs people and is happy with her Father and two close friends. Then Remy comes stumbling into her world and suddenly nothing will ever be the same for either of them.
Both Remy and Ollie have baggage and while Remy is determined to keep Ollie at arms length, our sassy, determined girl is not giving up that easily. This is a love story, a slow burn but never the less a steamy battle between a man determined to keep the woman he loves away from his lifestyle, even though he has inadvertently pulled her into it and the equally determined Ollie, hell bent on bringing Remy to his knees. There are so many moments when you think, yes this is it, they can't exist without each other, only for the characters to surprise us time and again.
There are moments of danger and sadness, I will admit to reaching for the tissue box more than once and this is a story you won't put down once you start. There are a number of brilliant cameos from previous books that will have you wanting to go back and explore.
This is an amazing read and now the audio version has taken it to a whole new level. Remy and Ollie where great in the book but having them talking to me just made this a fantastic experience.
If you are new to Eden's books, please grab this and when you are done go back and listen to her previous books and catch up with the characters in this story and many others. I can't recommend this highly enough, welcome back Eden, you have knocked it out of the park with Remy and Ollie.

Super slow
There’s slow burn then there’s this. I found it so slow I was bored. This is a good book full of angst but certainly not one of Eden Summer’s best work. If you haven’t read/listened to an Eden Summer’s book yet do not start with this one.
