About this listen

Hidden deep beneath a remote desert is our planet's biggest secret. Sarah Morgan's only mistake? Finding it.

The world holds its breath as the colossal asteroid 2011 AG5 hurtles towards the Earth. As humanity is faced with extinction, archaeologist Sarah Morgan is in a race against time to uncover a secret that has been buried for millennia: that an advanced ancestor once populated the Earth. As Sarah travels across the continents in search of the truth, she discovers there are those that will kill to protect this most ancient of secrets....

Meanwhile, in a clandestine facility below the earth's surface, Professor Steiner has been charged with overseeing the preservation of the human race. Steiner believes he is on schedule to deliver his task, but as the world is poised on the brink of destruction Steiner's plans begin to unravel.

That which has lain buried may yet prove to be their only hope....

The concept is excellent based on real possibilities such as an asteroid strike and an interesting mix of archeology and sci-fi..It would be great as a TV or Film series. The narrator is good though his interpretation of loud women's voices was grating
I would appreciate a little more science around asteroid detection and deflection and the possibility of deep hidden caves but perhaps he is aiming at a lowbrow audience

Good Storyline

It was just the right amount of political intrigue, human behaviour and mystery. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Enjoyable and interesting story line

Stumbled upon this author having read a lot of A G Riddel and looking for something similar. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I am looking forward to downloading the next book in the series.

Excellent

I enjoyed the build up in story, but the ending was rushed and anti climactic. Not great not terrible.

Was that supposed to be a Welsh accent?!

story line

Pacey story with all the threads coming together in the end in what might be seen as an anticlimax

An enjoyable listen

Brilliant story

Not bad really. It could’ve been better in a few ways. There are a few scientific or logical type of questions I have that seem to have been overlooked by the author. without creating spoilers. I will just leave it at that. It got very slow in a few places and seemed to drag on. On the plus side, there were lots of really interesting ideas that hopefully will be explored further in upcoming books?

Pretty good

If you like nonsense you’ll like this. Archaeology, Lost civilisations, apocalyptic natural disasters, nefarious church and military. Give it a go!

Great fun
