Summary
There's more to my brother's murder than I realized....
Shadows in the halls, mysteries lurking around every corner. Whoever killed him is covering their tracks well.
And now, I'm walking a dangerous line between getting close to the four kings for information and wanting to crawl deeper under their skin for my own desires.
I can't trust anyone.
I can't let my guard down.
And I must keep the urges of my body separate from my heart.
But I'm starting to break all of my own rules.
I just hope I'm not falling for my brother's killer.

Wow
We're back with Elise as she continues the hunt for her brothers killer, but she's rapidly realising there's more to the mystery and the four Kings. I loved seeing her get to know them better even if the hatred between Ryder and Dante burns like the sun. Fate keeps pulling them back to Elise which has got to mean something right?!
Honestly I didn't think this series could get any better and then these narrators just went and exceeded all expectations.
To bring such diverse and strong characters to life and given each their own voice is incredible.

The changing room scene with Elise, Leon and Dante 🥵🥵!!!!
Omg the ending!!!
This is a reread for me so I already know what happens, BUT the cliffhangers are still intense as always 😂
Amazing audio narration 😍

Easily one of my favourite series!
The last book left Elise in a dangerous position as she finally came face to face with the King of the Academy. Thank god for Gabriel is all I will say on the matter despite his behaviour towards Elise in the first book. Savage Fae picks up exactly where Dark Fae left off with Elisa waking up in Gabriel's flat. With help from a friend Gabriel begins to have a change or heart towards Elise and now it's his secrets that keep them apart. Unless, he confesses Elise will never let him in.
My favourite of her guys has to be Ryder, I just love a bad boy and he may just be the baddest boy I've ever read about so hands off ladies he's mine. I claimed him! He is so hilarious and I love his Disney references they make me laugh so much. His relationship with our feisty heroine strengthens after a a few rocky bumps. However, his rivalry with Dante gets in the way massively between him and Elise exploring their relationship on a more physical level. Looks like you'll be left wanting for a while boy!
As Elise continues her hunt for her brother's killer she begins to find more clues that lead her towards the counsellor Miss Nightshade who I always believed was dodgy from the start. In Gareth's chapters we get more of an insight into his life at Aurora Academy. A life that he kept secret from his sister and gives some small clue as to why the Kings of the Academy might have wanted to have him killed.
Leon plays more to the needs of his order form but with a twist. Out of all of Elise's potential men he shows why he is going to be vital to her harem. I really enjoyed meeting Leon's family as well and a familiar face pops up for those of you who have read the Darkmore Penitentiary series.
My heart was racing with every page I turned and only got worse with all the twists and turns these ladies take you on. It's all worth it though because it makes for one amazing story only made better but the wonderful audio voices that bring the story more alive.
Buying this book in any format will be the best thing you will have done all year!

Narrators bring the story to life
I loved this series when I read the books and now listening to the audiobooks has bought the stories to a whole new level. I am waiting impatiently for the final book - warrior fae and loving working my way through the audio books to recap ahead of it being released 🥰🥰🥰
After the first book in the series I had no idea how the amaZing authors were going to intertwine our leads and OMG its being done in such pure genius ways. You will find yourself falling deeper down the rabbit hole and desperate for book 3. Actual laugh out loud scenes. And Elise gets more badass as she goes with a huge heart ❤️ she is most definitely one of my favourite female leads EVER!!

One of my favourite listens
An excellent job on the narration of this book. With so many characters they still manage to portray everyone perfectly. An addictive listen.
As for the story well I love this story and even with it being a long story it flies through it and has you wishing there was more more more.
I love Elise and I love how varied and in-depth the characters all are and how much they all grow in this book.
