A brilliant next installment!

Thoroughly enjoyed the latest installment. Im thoroughly enjoying this series and looking forward to the next one already! The MC doesn't feel insanely over powered, is humble and the premise of the plot is unique in a way that makes it stand out, whilst not being so ridiculous that the MC is a one man army which is a nice change of pace to alot of LitRPG. Well worth a listen!

amazing book

I enjoyed the story, though this book focused more on the other party members than Sam. It almost felt like he was overshadowed. But the story was interesting and I am excited to read the next part if this series

It's all Heating Up

As the timeline gets closer and the catastrophic events which led to Sam's return unfold the number of actions needed and the progression required to stop these things happening make got great listening and a wonderful world to immerse yourself in.
This the 3rd outing ad narrator for Campbell makes this an easy return to his excellent skills.
Not much else to say other than this is a great series.

A Great Read Full of Action and Heart

I've been a fan of the Second Chance Swordsman series from the beginning, and book 3 truly lived up to my expectations.

Sam’s journey continues to be both thrilling and deeply engaging. The stakes are higher than ever with a new enemy threatening the entire elven race, and Sam’s growth as he trains to face this challenge really resonated with me.

What I love most about this series is the balance between intense action and moments of genuine heart. The fight scenes are epic, but it’s the little interactions between characters, the humor, and the deeper connections that really drew me in.

The system elements are seamlessly woven into the story, adding depth to Sam’s progression without ever feeling forced or overwhelming.

The world-building is fantastic, with rich details that make everything feel vivid and real. And that ending—wow. It left me eagerly anticipating book 4. Also, I have to give a shoutout to Steve Campbell’s narration, which perfectly captures the essence of the characters and the tension of each scene. Whether you’ve been following Sam’s journey or are just discovering the series, book 3 offers a rewarding and immersive experience that’s hard to put down.
