I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book. Great suspenful plot and a lovely bunch of likeable yet realistic characters. I'm off to get more books of this author!

Wow what a brilliant book . Everything about it was perfect , from the story , the characters to the narrator. The cover is pretty , but totally gives the impression of a light hearted read. This was more like a drama, with such a good twist I didn't see coming! Milly Johnsons women are real with fears and weaknesses just like all of us. Didn't want to press stop.
I've become a huge fan of her books since joining Audible , great to make work go quicker. You will probably shout at Stell, but that's what a good story does .

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this - got it on a 2 for 1 offer and fancied something a bit light and fluffy. It pulled me in pretty quickly and it was fun. It’s not War and Peace but hoorah for that - we all need a bit of light entertainment every so often. Good stuff 👍

Really enjoyed the story, but it bought back a few memories of a relationship that was similar … but loved the story and also made me realise how lucky I was to escape .. would like there to be a follow up book to read

A really enjoyable story, Very well told, with several different stories interwoven into the main theme.

I wasn't enamoured with the narration to begin with but I became so invested in the characters!
All loose ends tied up without rush or being stupid.
I really enjoyed it. I would definitely read others by the author.
It hit some very valid subjects and Stella's situation particularly was very realistic.
