Absurd plot

Started off rather well but developed into highly implausible story line. Can’t quite understand the good reviews

One of the most far fetched books I've read in a while

Where to start - this book was so disappointing. Every day a new mystery that wasn't actually mysterious at all. Don't want to give the plot away for anyone still willing to read it but that's a number of hours I won't get back. Disappointing.

Logan and Armitage are a great team

A fabulous story with lots of surprises . Well written and beautifully narrated. It held me until the end and can’t wait for the next T M Logan book having read all the others. Read/listen to it you won’t be disappointed

Northwest Listener

I liked this book and was disappointed when I had reached the end. The journey for this family was so dramatic and beautifully written. Can’t wait for Tim’s next offering. His books never disappoint. Great Narration as always

The wonderful narration of a gripping story.

Another great story from T M Logan and the excellent narration of Richard Armitage who can always be relied upon to give a perfect performance and keep the listener spellbound.

Brilliant

Very well written and kept me hooked ‘til the end. Roll on 2025. Richard Armitages’ narration added to the pleasure.

Great involved plot

I liked everything about this book. Compulsive and mostly credible. Reader has excellent voice that hint at menace and tells the tale very well

Foolish protagonists, logical holes

Even Armitage’s dulcet tones cannot save this one. Seems the protagonist can take no course of action or reach a conclusion unless it is daft. Kind of like in horror films when the person always chooses to go into a dark house at night. Also the police seem either incompetent or apathetic. Maybe that is a more accurate portrayal of reality than I think it used to, but it makes for dull storytelling. Inconsistencies, too, such as why would the villain untie their hands to stage it as an accident, but then put a heavy dresser in front of the door to bar their escape?
