About this listen

The nail-biting finale of the award-winning fantasy series by New York Times best-selling author Maria V. Snyder!

You can join me, or you can die.

Hard on the heels of trouble in Zirdai city, Shyla Sun-Kissed and Rendor are ordered to report to the King of Koraha - a summons that is deadly to ignore. The King holds the key to Koraha's existence, but a formidable new enemy threatens Koraha's very survival and the King desperately needs Shyla and Rendor's help.

Wielding a terrifying and unknown magical power that can convert opponents into devoted soldiers, the mysterious army is hell-bent on usurping the crown. Shyla and Rendor are tasked with discovering who in the seven hells these insurgents are and what their real endgame is.

Trekking through the punishing conditions across the searing surface of Koraha, and facing numerous unseen foes and untold danger, they must follow the clues to uncover the truth before it's too late. The fate of the King and all the citizens of Koraha rests in their hands...

Another win for Maria V Snyder

An exciting conclusion to the Invisible Sword series leaving me on the edge of my seat at times. Narrated by Gabra Zackman who has become one of my favourite narrators through her unique portrayal of the different characters, this epic finale is worth the slightly slower start to the series that this series had

Gabra Zackman does it again!

What a finale! Such a great narrator.

I’ve been a fan of Maria’s since I first picked up Poison Study many, many years ago, waiting patiently for each new release. Even branching out from my usual genre’s to experience the new worlds she has created and I am not disappointed!

A richly built world, characters you can root for and equally feel frustrated about the decisions they make.

A very satisfying conclusion to the Trilogy.

Good on the whole

I enjoyed the story, and I have enjoyed this author's books for years, however the weird measurements of time were irritating and slightly off-putting - they spoiled my enjoyment and ability to immerse fully into it because you're constantly trying to work out what on earth they're supposed to mean.
Good narration too.
