As a fellow humanist, I love this book.
What a wonderful world place the world would be if only we taught one hour of humanism in our schools worldwide every week, and discuss the lives of humanists. All the quotes in this book give mountains of inspiration for that.

This is a great book for anyone curious about humanist philosophy and lays out the epistemology and ontology of humanist perspectives in a concise and easy to understand format. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to shed the shackles of limited thinking and find a simple, natural, and kind point of view on our world and the lives we live.

Whilst I found the book interesting and enlightening, I found the constant use of quotes made it disjointed and difficult to follow.

I do agree with all this book says. It puts into words concepts and ways of living that are outside the mainstream that much of the modern world has rejected.

More religious pamphlet than ‘little book’. Something of a collection of quotes strung together with a few very ordinary ideas. Nothing life changing. Also similar to other religions snippets of very generic health advice completely unrelated to other ‘ideas’. I’d recommend not buying this one. Sorry.
