About this listen

‘A sparklingly delicious confection to satisfy the mystery reader’s appetite’ Helena Dixon, bestselling author of the Miss Underhay Mysteries

A film company is coming to the Cornish village of Penstowan, and the whole community turn up to be cast as extras, even Jodie ‘Nosey’ Parker.

Determined to join in with the fun and ignore any dramas, Jodie intends to make the most of this time with her mum and daughter and hopefully see their names in lights … or really small writing on the credits page.

But right on cue, the company’s caterer is sabotaged and Jodie must step up. It soon becomes clear that someone is out to spoil the filming… With actors behaving out of character and the house literally being brought down, breaking a leg is the least of their worries.

Can Jodie save the day once again, or will it be their final curtain call?

The third book in the Jodie ‘Nosey’ Parker cozy mystery series. Can be read as a standalone. A humorous cozy mystery with a British female sleuth in a small village. Includes one of Jodie's Tried and Tested Recipes! Written in British English. Mild profanity and peril.

book 3 of this series has not disappointed, just as interesting and funny as the previous two, I can imagine the whole thing as a TV series and will be disappointed if that doesn't happen, the narrator is perfect and delivers the book in the same way as my inner narrator does when I read so a win in my book, pun intended, so hurry up Audible there are more in the series and I need them....

love this series of books

This is one of those series that you can't put down or switch off. It is not one to fall asleep to, I loved the caricatures and the back story line to each crime. Hope there will be a book number 4.

this is one of those you can't put down

These books just get better and better. The plot is very good, well thought out and the characters are well developed. As always, the narration by Zara, just brings it all to life.

Another winner!

Good entertaining series - had to take off a star for bad research! How can Barnstaple be the nearest hospital to Cornwall when Barnstaple is in Devon and a good drive in to Cornwall from there. Cornwall has its own hospitals inc huge Royal Cornwall, Newquay and West Cornwall. Annoying. Oh and narrators Liverpudlian accent is dreadful but luckily not too much of it. Great performance otherwise.

Good series

Have listened to all previous 'Cornwall' book with pleasure. they are are entertaining, funny, and always a little twisty with lots of accents and characters to keep track if and enjoy. the gentle(cosy, but I hate that word!)yarn is always rewarding and there is little to dislike. faith brings to the table senior citizens and youngsters, lots of live interest bit little to mo crudity, picturesque narration of of situation and a very good and entertaing narration! Frankly, what's not to like!? I'm just about to buy as many stories by Faith Leitch as I can find. Well done lady for making this housebound, slightly disabled senior very happy !!

Tasty, amusing and entertaining
